Cx service Safeway South is amazing. Natalia custom wrote on a birthday cake we were picking up last minute. We weren't planning on even asking questions, but she was kind and went out of her way to go above and beyond. Now we have a cake that looks custom ordered. Super friendly and great service. Totally lucked out with her!!! Please give her kudos for me.

Awesome service selection and prices. And Starbucks coffee is pretty okay. I prefer the blended Matcha with no simple syrup, add fruit puree.

I got a cake for my girlfriends birthday on 2/5/2023 and it was amazing! Natalya did such a great job! I gave her a couple ideas for what I had in mind, and she went above and beyond to make the perfect cake!

Safeway south Commercial..my store. This Safeway had the best fruit by far! Plates, bowls... all cut and perfect to serve. It has brands other stores don't. And using the app you get a heads up on what is on sale or specials. Love it my fav!

I've always received very good service here and some of the kindest staff anywhere in Salem.

Store always stocked and clean . Produce fresh rotated . Meat department fantastic. Special’s on Rib eye steak last evening . These steaks regularly priced at $ 11.99 on special for $ 5.77 .

Love it. Easy to get into the parking lot and find a good spot. Always love the prices. Set up is pretty basic from all Safeway branches. Would rather come here to get my meats and produce. Always good deals to. Don't understand the app though but it's ok.

Flat out THE best Safeway in all of the Salem area!! Nice, well-lit store with wide aisles, good selection, bank, and more. Has a fueling station too.
Sadly, I have to drive all the way from West Salem to enjoy the type of shopping experience that I have come expect from shopping at Safeway over the last 3 decades. But I will continue to do so until Safeway decides to provide West Salem with Bank, nice store that it deserves.

Customer service is great. Hard to find on the floor, but going to customer service desk always yields great results. Cashier's very forthcoming with information.
Apparently they no longer stock shelves with all inventory the day it comes in for popular items, but restock shelves every morning. So if something is always out when you go, try going first thing in the morning. Totally true for Gatorade.

Lost my wallet at this store earlier today.and went back to see if somebody turned it in and heck ya they had it..you guys are awesome..my whole life is in that wallet..

I go to Safeway Battle Creek to get excellently priced gas. That is my primary reason for going. Additionally, they have a wonderful deli and a good selection of products in the store. This store is close to work so I'm in here often for snacks, lunch & gift cards. The staff is friendly & helpful! If there was a gas pump I would like it even more😅

Great selection, friendly staff, and good overall service. You can get great deals on their weekly specials and every Friday. Tons of online coupons. Love this store! They are on the process of redesigning the store. Grocery pick up has moved to the other side of the parking lot.

This has been our Go-To grocery stop for some time now. The staff are always friendly and the store is clean and well laid out.

You do have to watch the prices here though, but they tend to have some great coupon deals and you can earn reward points to use on gas or groceries later; which doesn't hurt if you're going to be spending money here anyway.

They also have a pretty good selection of wine to choose from and a nice bakery. A nice stop for a bottle of Moscato and a slice of cake to finish the evening off.

This Safeway is great. Lots of good produce and deli stuff too. Plus not much waiting time in line, unlike Fred Meyers, they never had enough checkers and old style checker service system is terrible.
The poor checkers are worked to death.
