I have been a customer of Talbot’s for more years than I can count. Tim at Store #483 is the consummate professional. He knows stock well and calls me when an item I am interested in arrives at the store.
No question Talbot’s has problems but not with the stores or any employees in my experience. The problem is in the design of MANY pieces for those of us who made Talbot’s successful. Who and why did they start designing with cutesy fabrics that I would never wear? I just purchased a black and white knit shell and sweater and waited for the pants to come in. Today they arrived and Tim called, I went straight to the store. The pants must be 18” wide at the bottom!! Ridiculous looking! SO disappointed and will have to shop elsewhere if some nice black tailored with wool content don’t appear soon. The only other black pants were “stretchy” which is fine but not for a suit! And not for all ages! Many of us are waiting for the wonderful tailored, sophisticated look you used to be foremost in presenting. Please do something about your designs!!!!!! I miss them!

Talbots was organized and friendly associates to help you. I had to return an online item that had been a Christmas gift given to me. I had no problem returning the sweater.

The store is nice and I like the classic lines of Talbot's clothing. The staff at this location is not as friendly or attentive as other locations.
