Ed's Hobby Shop

Hubby loves to come to Ed’s for Gundam models and to look around at all their cool stuff! Staff is always super friendly and very knowledgeable.

Eds has been around a long long time. As a hobby shop it is geared more to the RC crowd but has a plastic selection. I am primarily an aircraft/armor modeler. Their selection is smallish on both but includes some interesting items. Their model ship selection is very very small (odd considering the shop is only a 100 yards or so from the ocean). Their car selection is also smallish but has some cool stuff too. Guys working there are very friendly. Paint selection is Tamiya acrylics and some alclad and AK interactive. Fun place.

A rare sight for me to see coming from out of town. I really enjoyed seeing their items here, and found a model of a Felixstowe flying boat from WWI. Not a very common model to find. They have a great selection of models and RC projects/parts available.

My husband and I enjoy coming here. The staff is amazing and they have a good selection of RC's for beginners to advance. Not to mention the cool 3D wooden puzzle models.

My favorite hobby shop around! The people who work here are some of the most friendly and helpful people I have ever met. I generally am here at least once or twice a month looking for RC parts (I am rough with my Traxxas cars) and each time they have been able to help me find the correct part and have even helped install the parts!

100% would recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking to get into anything hobby related (RCs, models, trains, etc.).

Great little store in town. Came all the way from Wilmington (third time here) and still can’t find anything to complain about. Their prices are fair and they have a great selection of RC and trains. Their model collection is lacking comparatively, but they have really rare kits you can only find on eBay for half the price. Highly recommend any modelers or hobbyist to stop by and give them a look.

Great shop even had some old vintage train items for sale. Mostly for Traxxas it seemed and I was there for a part to a boat I have.. Don't come here for boat parts... But still a great store and bought some things for the train set up!!

I stopped in on vacation and I was impressed with alot of nice stuff they had. I wish I had more room in car to take something home

Great local shop. Good and growing selection. They have a good selection of plastic kits, paints and supplies, plus more and more model train stuff and ubiquitous pile of RC junk for that crowd. Prices are somewhat higher than normal. Staff is great, helpful and willing to special order. Good location, plenty of parking. They are the only show in town, we are lucky to have them in business.

The staff of Ed's Hobby Shop are very knowledgable, willing to take their time to make sure that you are a satisfied customer.. A big shout out to Will for repairing the 30 plus year old Lionel locomotive. A very satisfied customer..

I was just checking it out the last day of my vacation. I don't remember the last time I was in a hobbyshop and it was never as well stocked as this place.
I really had to fight with myself as to not bring one of the smaller rc planes home with me, only cause I was concerned bout room in my luggage.
They had all kinds of models for assembly and terrain embellishments.
