This is a fantastic place for any electronics enthusiasts to peruse. The isles are stocked full of components and everything is well organized.
I've been shopping here since I was about 12 years old and I'm now almost 40.
I highly recommend stopping by for a visit because electronics stores like this are a thing of the past.
Hopefully I'll be able to continue shopping here for another 28+ years.

Ace electronics was exceptional! I walked in looking for something and they didn't have it despite having a large selection of items.
But they patiently taught me how to MAKE what I needed while I was there.I left here not just fixing my problem but having a new skill as well. This is above and beyond. Give these people your business!

This place is Houston's best source for electronic components. They also have test equipment. They have everything from used to new under one roof. The employees here are always helpful and very knowledgeable. I have been a customer for many, many years.
Their prices are always fair and reasonable.
Today, I only got a relay switch.

They have every electronic component level part you could need for the enthusiast or professional. Also a good assortment of tools. A knowledgeable staff helps when needed. The place is easy to get to.

The lady who helped me was very nice and competent. They could improve their stock since several things were out of stock.

Could spend hours in a place like this and geek out! If u like the old days of shopping around radio shack, epo, and fry’s this is the place for u. Customer service is great and they have everything for the diy’er or professional when it comes to electronic tools and supplies. Prices are great and they have hard to find connectors and looms that I was looking for.

Great electronics supply store in Houston. Parts are very well organized and inventory is well managed. The employees were all attentive and helpful with any questions I asked. I will be returning soon for the next project!

Honestly, great place with wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable people. I stopped in to get supplies to repair small cut wires in a car seat. With limited knowledge and experience doing this I thought that I would solder the small wires to resplice them and cover in shrink tubing. I told the sales person my problem and he showed me some really cool options from heat shrink with solder in it that melts with a heat gun to single small crimps. Ended up going the cheaper route and even left with a fun new tool! Thanks to everyone there for making this a wonderful experience.

Great store if you need electronic components, test equipment, and tools. Like the old Radio Shack and electronics section of Frys. Knowledgeable workers. Only downside is it's shady location.

Amazing place! They have everything and the staff was very helpful. It saved my pocket while looking for a few small resistors. Online order for stuffs like that would come with a pack of hundred unnecessary items.

If you're in need of electronics parts, this is your one-stop-shop. They've got everything from flashlights, to soldering irons/accessories, to shrink wrap, to carrying cases. Of course they have electric wire, cutting tools, etc as well. The folks are the desk are super friendly and will order something if they don't have it in stock. Anytime I go in there I find what I need and checkout is a breeze. I would definitely recommend stopping in.

It's the Ace Hardware store of electronics. They have always been a constant source of what I need backed up by a knowledgable staff. One of the rare electronic parts suppliers still in business. Why? Because they know what they are doing and do it well. They have a multi-generational loyal customer base that appreciates everything they put into the business.

I have searched long and hard for a place like this! I drive an hour each way once a week for parts. This place is worth the trip every time. The staff are amazing and they have so much stuff :P

Needed quite a variation of parts, they had everything I expected they would, there was a very specific bulb, but they cant be expected to stock every bulb ever made, the help was effective, they expect you to have some level of knowledge of what you want, which I understand. I ended up having to come back because I did not know one variable about a part ( A/C vs D/C ) but at least I was informed that the part was non refundable if I bought it. Turned out the product he suggested was the one I needed anyway.
The layout of the store is tricky to learn, its small but so are the parts, there are signs, and everything if grouped well. I will go back, I read the previous reviews, I think some people who weighed in may have been expecting the type of service you get at best buy, people just walking around to help, its a small business, the people who help you also ring you up, pull stock, and do research for people, so if there are 9 people in line you might have to wait 2-5 minutes, get over it.

Wish the store was open on Saturday. I understand that the store primarily serves a commercial clientele and would not exist otherwise. I believe the hobbyist can benefit from their vast selection as well. There is no alternative other than mail order from the internet. I do recommend you bring your notes or pad device to find parts to match your project. You will find compatible parts, enclosures, spacers, etc.
