A young man named Jeff, helped me today. And i have to say Jeff is an AMAZING example of how to help/treat a customer. I am always excited to see the youth strive to be the best. This kid is going to do great things throughout his future, just from the way he handles people and his knowledge is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Thank you again Jeff!

Hello, I wanted to apologize on behalf of my mother, Delphine, who passed recently. She left a negative review not too long ago. When I went to visit her in the hospital during her final days she grabbed my hand and asked me to “Make it right” in reference to her reviews. She was eaten up by the guilt of leaving such negative reviews, but she was too sick to fix or delete the reviews herself. I would have deleted the reviews if she had given me her password to the emails to do so. But, in her state she forgot them all. She loved this Ace Hardware with her entire soul. She insisted she be buried with that Stanley, as it tied her to her favorite place, and favorite person in the world. Thank you Ace for making her final years as enjoyable as possible. And thank you for selling Stanley’s, against my ex-wife's wishes we did not cremate our child and I buried her with the Stanley wanting her to have the gift her favorite grandma gave to her. Once again, I sincerely apologize for any stress that might’ve been caused by her reviews. Her mind was not as sharp as it was when she raised me. May she rest in peace. I pray there is an Ace Hardware as good as this one in the clouds for her to enjoy.

Very helpful staff at this location. They offered to load the car without even asking when we purchased garden, soil and seed. Was also very happy to see that everything was on sale.

This Ace is always a friendly and knowledgeable store. They have great stock for the random things I need at a moments notice and great customer service from the whole staff! Chuck the manager is very nice, and ensures I have a great experience while visiting.

Friendly service well-stocked and friendly staff. The staff is very helpful and they offer delivery service for larger items which is huge when you don't own a truck or a van. I purchase a grill that came assembled for free and delivered for free. Can't beat that value

I'm the GM of the new Steinhafels Furniture in Harwood Heights. I love this Ace Hardware and go here anytime I need supplies. While we were putting the store together, I was here a few times a week. Every time the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. And I love racking up rewards points when buying things for work. I highly recommend this place.

The customer service is exceptional, their staff here is so attentive and decent. You can easily ask them if you need help or assistance. They are so willing to answer all of their customers questions and even guiding the customers around the store.

I've been having a bit of a problem in my garage and now in the crawl space of my home. Upon asking for assistance from Spencer, he was very knowledgeable and gave me various tips on do's & don'ts. He also was very knowledgeable on the products he recommended and how to get the most use out of the products I purchased.

I just moved to the area and needed to buy some extra bolts and screws which got lost. I walked in and Rita asked if I needed any help. She told me which aisle I should go to and radioed someone to meet me there for further assistance. A nice young man was there to help me get the right sized items. Looking for these pieces weren’t easy nor did what I bought add up to much BUT the customer service I received was as if I was spending $100.
Thank you for the wonderful start to my day. I will be back for all my other hardware needs.

This place is great!! I live in Park Ridge, but drive to this one because the people that work there are much more helpful and friendly. They always have what I need and the world's finest candy bar...gotta get one every time!!

This place is awesome. Love having a neighborhood hardware store. Bob hooked us up with the lawn care essentials we needed. He also helped us get set up for some painting projects. He gave us so much good advice, he’s like store Dad.

Gotta love people who take the time to make sure you get it right. Sure, ACE can be pricey, but with all the advice I've gotten here over the years, plus the fact that they know their products and actually stock their shelves properly (unlike HD), it's the better value at the end of the day more often than not. Thanks for helping me through many daunting projects and treating your customers like real people, you're certainly an asset to this neighborhood.

I needed a new garage door opener and called to see if I could get any advice. I spoke with Vince who told me exactly what I needed, even gave me the price over the phone, and then I was able to send my husband there to pick up the product! I had a wonderful experience getting color matched paint. Spencer was extremely patient with me! He is helpful , courteous and was very knowledgeable about a variety of home improvement projects! Hands down the only Ace I'll give my business to from now on!
