The staff are great, shelves were well stocked. The bathrooms could use a little update and some of the prices are a little out of wack but overall a great visit

Love finding new OSJT locations especially out of state, always find something new.

This awesome gentleman went above and beyond to find me a bag of ginger candy. He didn't stop looking until he found it! He's truly an asset to this store. Thank you so much Bob!😁.
Then when it was time to check out, Dennis was super helpful.
He was fast and funny too! Thanks Dennis!😄.

I was in the store about a week ago. The cashier, Emma, was so sweet and polite. I just felt like giving her some praise. Customers can be very impatient at times

Everyone loves these stores. They fill in the gaps left from all the things you can't find in Walmart or the dollar store. I love their hair products as they are often different from the usual. And the Weird Food Aisle, where we buy odd stuff to try. Lately they are dealing in lots of clothes and that's kind of fun. The sock selection is terrific and the service in all areas outstanding. I plan to get a room size rug there as the rug prices are low.

I can't say enough how excited about what next will I find there.
But more so the staff is top shelf all the way to Timbuktu and back. Which is why you should give them all a raise.

I really enjoyed my shopping experience at Job Lot this evening. Everything I needed that was on sale was fully stocked! You can get it all from dishware, holiday, car, clothing, makeup, pet supplies, food, rugs, bathrooms, crafts, you name it, they have it at a decent price. The staff was very helpful in helping me find my item. The cashier was very nice too! Job Lot made my holiday shopping so much easier,
It's one stop shopping! Exquisite foods from around the world. I highly recommend Job Lot. Out of all the big stores, this is the best bang for your buck! It wasn't over crowded, and enough registers open with real people running them. They sell wonderful re usable shopping bags for 79 cents! What a deal. Thank you again Job Lot, you helped me accomplish everything I needed to do in one store!

Staff is ALWAYS so kind, friendly, helpful, and willing to go that extra mile to help you!
During this troubling time, they are willing to let you call and see if what you are looking for is available so you don't have to worry about stopping down and taking any chances. They are very strict about masks(a good thing),are constantly cleaning counters, and have plastic over their debit card machines to protect and make for easy wiping. I typically only buy specific things(outdoor items) when there but what I do buy I can testify is excellent and why I continue to come back.... besides the great customer service! Bird seed is best around(my birds, chipmunks, and squirrels highly approve) and you can't beat the prices on gardening necessities and supplies!

This place is huge and has everything you could need, all for pretty good prices. The stock changes frequently and the items featured in weekly flyers are prominently displayed when you first walk in. Additionally, they're currently repaving the parking lot and will be doing new lines when that's complete so it'll be even better.

1. I brought them $100. In rolled coins and they gave me $100 on a gift card and another gift card as a reward. Stores usually charge for taking change ! Win for me!
2. Face shields were on sale.
3. They had weighted blankets.
4. They had individual tubes of honey that I can add a fresh apple to and while we are still social distancing we can celebrate the new year separately and safely.

Can depend on finding what you need and even eclectic or odd hard to find items. Styles and quality are often better than usual big box cookie cutter.
Prices always reasonable and usually far less than regular retail.
Fun place to discover items you didn't realize you need til you see it! This OSJL kept well stocked!

I love this job lot so much more than the other three or four in the area. They always have a nice food and snack selection and the people who work there are always nice.
Like all job lots, the whole interior is a little confusing to navigate and often poorly laid out, but once you get over that (it's common at all the job lots I have been to) you will come to like the quirky and odd offerings they have. I have found some of the most interesting and odd things here and it's never very expensive.
It's worth checking out if only to see if you can find something new and interesting that is also often cheap and worth trying out.

They carry such a wide array of items at good prices. Today I bought some perennials, new bathroom rug and an indoor outdoor rug. I enjoy looking around and seeing what I could get at a good deal.

Went to the Ocean State Job Lot in Gales Ferry looking for a garden hose but they were out. Found some great "crazy deals" , store was well stocked in most areas, empty in garden dept though. Plenty of hand sanitizers and some wipes and gloves available. Pleasant help, especially cashier who rang up my purchase.

Nice place to browse, friendly staff. Inventory seemed rather light in some departments, lots of empty shelves, but this is likely pandemic-related. Always find needful things to buy in here.

As much as I wanted to shop the amazing sunglasses variety, my husband only sent me in to see if there were anymore inflatable pools, which there weren't because it's covid quarantine July and absolutely every store is sold out of pools

The selections are great from gardening supplies to spices and everything in between. Prices are more than reasonable.

Love the great deals I find here! Staff is always very nice and go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for.

Great place to go for kayaks and other outdoor stuff, this is the place for rugs, has common merchandise and stuff you can not find anywhere else and the prices are the lowest you can get retail.
