Fresh beef and spices, and fresh flat breads. The family who owns it is very friendly and knowledgeable. The beef and lamb and chickens all fresh and lean choices. Quality of the butcher is Prime Grade. I shop here every week. And will continue. Best middle eastern foods I have found yet in the Houston area.

I was looking for ingredients for popcorn chicken and the sweet chilli sauce. I didn’t know where to go but one of the staff members was very helpful and guided me throughout my list. They had everything that I was looking for

I have always had a good experience with this place. Prices are reasonable, the meat is zabiha halal and the owners are pretty friendly. I've been going to this place for over 5 years and although new desi grocery stores have opened up in our area, I trust awami's meat the most!

The ladies at this store are super helpful esp if you're new and don't know your way around. The butcher also will fulfill requests within 10 minutes
