Good place for a quick snack

I have been a Shell customer for 4 years, in fact 95% of my gas purchases are made at those stations. Yesterday, October 8, 2023 at 1:35 pm I went to the gas station located at 4007 FM 1463, Katy, TX 77494 to exchange a lottery ticket. Mr. Adam helped me and when he gave me my money he gave me a torn 5 dollar bill. I told him to change it since that bill was in bad condition. He just didn't change it for me, he told me over and over again that there was nothing wrong with the bill, that the bill was fine. After insisting about 10 times that he change my bill, I gave up doing so, because I realized that he was not going to change it. I showed the bill to the security cameras to show that it was torn. I asked the lady who worked with him to change it for me and she didn't do it either, she told me that the cash register was not hers, that only he could change it. I told him I wanted to speak to a supervisor and he told me he wasn't there, I asked for the customer service number and he pointed me to the door where the sign was. Finally I bought a chocolate so as not to take my torn bill. I felt discriminated against, I don't know if Adam knows that many Latinos are honest and hard-working people and that we feel this great country is as much ours as a United States national can feel. For now I don't think I will return to this gas station or any of this brand, I am very sorry that things like this still happen.

Cashier was upset I made a $5 purchase for over-priced energy drinks with a $20. I come in here multiple times a week to buy stuff and gas. Seriously? Guess I’ll be starting to spend my money at the nearby Circle K.
