Kent Goodwill

This place is sooo clean, spacious, and great prices! Compared to many goodwills I’ve been to, most feel like an overpriced dark dungeon. This place is bright, the staff are so friendly, and I couldn’t believe most of the stuff they had for sale! A decent amount of housewares were boxed or brand new! This Goodwill has a regular store side, then a “bins” side. On the bins side, you pay by the pound for items- it’s like digging for treasure! The bins side is clean, everyone is respectful, and they have prices posted and make sure everyone follows rules to keep everyone safe and things fair. At the bins, they fill these huge blue bins with clothing, housewares, etc., and continue to rotate them every so many minutes. It can be a little overwhelming as a first timer, because regulars or resellers, often times they have their own little system and lots of them rush to check out the newest bins put out. The staff is very diligent about not tolerating anyone pushing or being rude while trying to get to the bins or looking through them. I had an excellent experience on both parts of this goodwill, and will absolutely come back.

COVID update [9/22/20] - No lines to get in on a Tuesday. The Downtown Outlet had 2+hrs wait, elgh! There was about 75% clothes, 25% "stuff" and no furniture. Employees were rolling out about two new rows an hour. It was worth the drive from Seattle--I'll be back!

It's always fun sorting through the bins. You can find great stuff. Gloves are recommended. Otherwise, definitely wash your hands and don't touch your face

So its a bins/normal Goodwill. Kinda the best of both worlds. Pretty clean store with a heathy amount of quality items. I don't make it to Kent too often but I will make sure to stop by again if I'm in the area!

This is hands down the best goodwill bins in the world! It is amazing. I find so much good stuff here. This is where I find all the best vintage. I have been to a lot of Goodwills in the world but this is hands down the best goodwill I have ever been to. It is definitely worth the drive. Shoutout to the Kent Goodwill. There is also this guy Jason who picks there and he is super friendly and has a great positive attitude.

I love this one. So much stuff and reasonably well organized. I've never been into the outlet side, just the regular store. I go whenever I'm down in Kent.

It has been a while since I visited the Goodwill location. Apparently there are now 2 sections!. One side is the "old" rummaging-through-the-giant-bins-and-priced-by-the-pound side and the other is the "regular thrift store" side. The regular side is just that: Everything is nice and organized on shelves and hangers with price tags for each items. You know-- like the other "regular " thrift stores you are used to shopping at like Value Village etc.. So, whichever you prefer, whether diving into piles of stuff in bins and paying by the pound, or "shopping" through shelves and racks of organized items, you can choose either or do BOTH at the same store. I thought that is kinda cool!

Realized that the donation drop off is now location in the back of the building, and the new store enterence is now locates where the old donation drop off enterence use to be. Donation drop off had a line of cars, so I didn't donate that day because I was in a rush. I don't like the new side of the goodwill. The bins are just way better.

This location is much calmer than the downtown outlet. Plenty of easy parking, and a LOT of nice, high end items. I actually found a leather Natuzzi couch there in perfect condition. The customers still act like rabid animals when new bins arrive, but there are less people, so you'll get elbowed in the ribs less. The staff are all really sweet and helpful too, which is much appreciated.

Great prices and super cute stuff, plus the staff is friendly! I was able to get new boots (with the original $99 price tag still on it) for $7! And today was 99 cent red tag day! I love love love this store and will be back again soon!

Today we lost in the store a wallet with money and documents. we talked about our problem to the store workers. the guys said they would look in the carts. an hour later, our documents were brought home. We express great gratitude to those who found and brought us home. thank you so much guys for your honesty and decency

One of the cleanest and neatly organized Goodwill locations I've ever seen. And I'm no stranger to the chaos that can be found at a thrift store. Kudos to the folks who run this shop!

I love the Goodwill outlet it's the best way I know to take 6 hours of your day and completely just let your mind go dead and dig dig until all the treasures are belong to me.

I was looking for Golf clubs to repurpose.
I was able to find all that I needed. Many of th hem had additional discount tags on them. What a bargain.
