Big Lots

Saved us today on Thanksgiving! Sad they were open. Very clean and friendly!

Nice well organized and very clean. Even tho it's a new store. And associates are very polite and help full.

Great for last-minute stocking stuffers. I always grab candy, treats, socks, and small toys here for the kids at christmas each year.

I like big lots I usually go there for laundry soap most of the time they are out of the big ones every big lots are, get holiday decorations there,

We came in looking for a specific mattress we had seen available online. They had a sign for them but none of the boxes on the shelf. The furniture manager was moving a couch so I went up front to ask who I should talk to about help with a mattress. I didn’t want to bother him in the middle of moving furniture and didn’t know there wasn’t someone else to help. They paged him which he waved and joked that he’s right there and he’s not that short so the cashier could have seen him right there. I promise it was good natured ribbing nothing inappropriate or rude.

I apologized as I hadn’t wanted to stop him in the middle of moving furniture. He said it was no problem and was happy to help. I told him what we needed and he went in back to see if any were available. Unfortunately they were out of stock but he looked at other locations to see if other locations nearby had what we needed. Sure enough South Bend had a couple available so we didn’t have to order it and wait for it to arrive. We thanked him and went on our way. I would have looked online but it’s often not very accurate. He said South Bend had 3 and it was accurate when we got there.

So he was very helpful. I should pay more attention to people’s names but the furniture manager at this location was very helpful. Despite being the only one in his department and being busy doing heavy lifting (with a dolly but still), he was pleasant and helpful. I also liked that he didn’t rush me and didn’t try to sell me something else just so I would buy from his location. We even stayed a couple minutes checking out and sitting on some couches, which he stayed nearby but didn’t hover and didn’t try to pressure us into a sale there either. We keep looking but aren’t ready to purchase yet. So it was appreciated that we could look and try out couches still trying to figure out what we do and don’t like, without being made to feel like we had to buy something that day.

Excellent customer service, the ladies were patient while I picked out a dresser and the team helped me load it in my vehicle so everything will fit I will be back !! Thank you again

Went for a couch and recliner but they don't deliver. Other thank that I loved the furniture

Summer decor/accessories are out on display. I don't come here as much as I'd like as it's 30 miles away.
Very pleased with purchases, maybe another trip next month...I didn't get to all departments.

I was able to get in and get what I needed. Actually had a nice person check me out!!! Yay, no self checkout!!
Plenty of handicapped parking with lots of room.

Totally different and a whole lot cleaner. I hadn't been here in years and I live 7 minutes away.

We went there to do some last minute Christmas shopping found every thing on our list. Nice friendly staff clean store. Would recommend it to anyone they have such a wide variety of items.

I was rather impressed with how Big Lots looked! It was clean, and very neat and orderly! I did rather enjoy some of the Halloween decorations! I liked how you didn't have to dodge big messes in the isles! Keep up the good work!
