Kroger

We've swung into this Kroger a few times a decade or so back. It's still a decent location to shop at. Nowhere near the size of a super Kroger, this one is more quiet and offers a more peaceful shopping experience. The store was clean and the shelves were mostly stocked (08/2023). There were very few items they didn't have in stock that we were looking for. We would recommend this Kroger if shopping in the area.

Purchased flowers from Kroger multiple times and I am always impressed with the flower selection and the attention to detail.

Finally!! Breggy Bomb salsa is in Houston Kroger stores! Great taste, Nice job Alex!!

Gia at Cochrans Crossing in The Woodlands is the best help. She's professional, patient, knowledgeable, understanding, friendly, and helpful in a big way. When I called for assistance, I had no idea she was going to make my day better and make me smile. She was uncommonly kind to me, a stranger to her.

Please acknowledge her as she stands out in an already outstanding store. You have so many great employees at this location and Gia stood out today.

Xavier the attendant in the self check out lane was awesome! Super personable and ultra patient. I accidentally called him over several times and he had the best attitude which made my day. Management should give him kiddos!

Joey by the sushi is so great! Greets you with his wonderful customer service and smiling eyed &is so knowledgeable and helpful.

I had a big conference and needed 300 box lunches. Jessica, the deli manager, was so accommodating. They made the best box lunches and the boxes looked great. They even delivered them on time and helped us set up. I would definitely use them again. Jessica and her team were great. I received great feedback from all of our attendees that these were the best sandwiches ever. Great ingredients and lots of meat. Very very pleased....

Shelly at the Deli!!!! She is awesome, and I enjoy her service and great personality. If she isn’t working when I come by, I just wait to get my deli items for the next time I catch her behind the counter! Great store overall and they did a superb job managing their supply of items through the early hit of the pandemic and throughout. I’m very impressed and love shopping here. Best place for all my needs, groceries, medical, candy... At great prices

I was in need of a small fruit try one for 6-8 ladies. All the local stores have them but for 12-16 people and were not welling to help me with a smaller tray.This was way to big for what I needed. I went to the deli and spoke with a lady there. Telling her I needed a smaller tray. She called the manger over (a man with a accident) they talked about what I needed and he said sure we can make you a smaller tray. This was on a Friday night on Saturday morning I got a call from the lady that would be making the tray for me. She just wanted to go over the instructions and make she would be making it right. I pick the tray up on Tuesday morning and it was beautiful, fresh and made perfect. Thank you Kroger team for an outstanding job.

Clean store. Fresh food . Friendly an helpful staff. Bought the Thanksgiving holiday family meal. The food was restaurant quality. The green bean casserole was subpar. Overall the dinner was excellent and will purchase again with a substitution request.

Best Kroger in the Houston area. Small and friendly unlike the newer Kroger's. Fresh fruits and vegetables. More importantly, they have my favorite Nolan Ryans sliders, which are pre-cooked hamburgers. Also Brothers egg and cheese pita. Great vitamin choices. On the down side, the music can be loud sometimes.

Helpful friendly staff, floral inventory was beautiful and reasonably priced.
Excellent meat selection

Nothing stays the same and that holds true for grocery stores. They move things around so we will notice items we might otherwise miss in hopes of making an additional sale (hey, who can blame them - business is business). It obviously isn't ok with a lot of people but for me it keeps the usually mundane errand a tad more interesting.
I really like this store and its employees.

I like Kroger's. i have been shopping at Kroger's for years. I especially like their meat and their weekly specials. After working in privately owned meat markets (off and on for 17 years), I've learned what good meat is and Kroger's carries good meat. I also shop at HEB, here in Texas. HEB has good meat, but not as good as Kroger. Thank you Kroger for being there for your shoppers.

Jackson at the parking lot was great....he heard my baby crying in the car (couldn't see me in the back sitting with my son),he went & informed his colleague/supervisor and they both came to check out the car & realized that I was with my son (who was crying)... they both apologized for inspecting the car ! But me & my wife are very happy to see that Jackson paid attention and tried to check out when he heard a baby crying in the car... which we think is very important in today's world and we appreciate him responding to a crying baby. 🙏

I am a dyed-in-the-wool HEB fan, but I find myself going to Kroger more and more, of late. There are several places where I give the edge to Kroger:

The deli. Chef Irv is definitely more gifted in the prepared food discipline than the cookie-cutter fare HEB brings in from corporate.

The cheese shop in HEB is good. Murray’s in Kroger is beyond good.

The amiability of the Kroger employees has the edge over HEB. Mind you, HEB is very good, but Kroger is better.

My wife likes the pharmacy. I will continue to use CVS for my scrips.

Overall, the differences are subtle, but Kroger has earned a slight preference.

Clean, organized, and courteous. I like that there's a Shell in the same parking lot since their fuel points are associated with them. I can grab groceries & pick up a $50 shell gift card and get 10cents off per gallon right away. And if you have a credit card like mine, I get twice as much cash back at grocery stores than for gas.

Great stop on my way home!

This location is supurb. Very friendly employees. Always clean and orderly. Customer service is fantastic. Great Sales & Always good produce. Just ask for Bruce. Excellent Store!
