Ross Dress for Less

Don't usually write reviews but after my past 2 experiences and reading all the nasty ones on here I felt the need to. I'm giving the store 5 stars because I found some awesome things but there's definitely room for improvement. I found this deer that was a reproduction from some designer brand (it's actually nicer). The brands deer retailed for over $300... I bought the ross one for $70 and it made my moms Christmas. Excellent quality. The store is a bargain store... not everything is amazing but like most places you need to dig and look around. The prices are amazing. They have kids toys that I've bought before for half or 1/3rd the price or less. They also have a lot of christmas food gifts right now that are half the price that macys is selling them for and macys us doing a sale! As for the employees... some of the cashiers aren't the fastest but I think it's because they're newer and they're learning. If you have patience and are looking for a deal then this store is for you.... you will wait on line and you will also have to look around a bit but you find good stuff. As for attitudes from employees... you get what you give quite often and I've seen a lot of attitudes coming from customers. While I wish some of the workers could pick up the pace a bit I treat them like human beings and they treat me just fine. Please get more home stuff! I've been going in and checking often now... some of the decorative stuff is nicer or as nice as home goods but there's not a ton of it ! Thanks!

Great deals if you find what you are looking for or something you didn’t know you needed until you found it. Prices are lower than at Marshall’s or tjmaxx. This is the only Ross store for MILES around. Middletown is not a small town. Add to it shoppers from Monroe, Chester, Goshen - you will have long lines - I don’t understand people complaining about waiting in line. You don’t want to do it - shop online. And if you shop on weekends - well you’re not the only one doing it - deal with the lines. Or come back during the week. Lots of shoppers = emptier shelves. Parking problem or lighting of the parking lot is not it this store’s hands. Take it up somewhere else. I’m not affiliated with the store - I don’t like to shop on weekends when crowds are everywhere. But when I have to - I deal with it - talk to to people I came with or listen to music or book I like.

I really like this store, it's along the lines of Marshall and TJ max! I just think they need more registers open, especially during the holidays.

Me and my friend got chased by a 10-11 year old. It was a pleasant experience. Felt like I was in gym class! 🥰

The bathroom and dressing rooms in the back of the store were closed for some reason.
Many of the shopping carts were not working properly. Someone needs to check the wheels on the carts and fix them. One of the carts I noticed had a bunch of hair clogging the wheels, which probably means that the floors in the store don't get cleaned often enough!
