Ponderosa Market

They had regular groceries, high end items, and homemade food in a deli/take-out area. We got a few essentials as well as some chicken strips, homemade potato salad (very good), and smoked ribs. Had a picnic in the woods during a day trip. Store was a nice find. Employees were very personable as well.

Staff was super nice and the selection was fantastic! Prices were very reasonable- honestly this is way better than any chain grocery store I’ve ever been to

This is the nicest little market! They have everything you need. The meat and produce look like great quality! Reasonable prices too.

Also found Oscar Meyer liver sausage that we can’t find anywhere in Phoenix!

Love this little Market 💕! It has everything needed for a delicious 🤤 dinner. Grilled steak 🥩, mashed potatoes, grilled mushrooms and gravy the whole nine yards. Oh did I mention a a nice drink called Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine (cherry 🍒) plus the workers are always wonderful to talk to.

Staff was so sweet. Great service. Not fond of the prices, but prevents me from having to drive 30 minutes into Payson for what I need... so worth it definitely.

Nice and clean. Kayleigh was exceptional. She was courteous and respectful. I ran out of an important item and called before I made the trip to Pine. She found what I was looking for and set them aside. I watched as she helped others and was so impressed to have such a nice and friendly young woman. In this moment in time when there is so much anger and hate.

Wonderful home made pies. Every flavor I've had is delicious. They have quite the variety of home made breads as well. They have very helpful employees and a good selection of goods for such a small town store. They sure are horrible for my waistline but helpful to my taste buds. I like to stop every time I swing through town which is never enough.

Staff is really helpful! Great place to stop for a quick snack or if you need to stop and grab some supplies for your camping trip. Local small town market. Prices are good

The staff was super friendly the shelves had stuff on them. And i didnt have to drive to payson to get rice. They have all those ingredients you forgot to get and more. We got a watermelon a while back that was SO GOOD fresh sweet and juicy. Love this little supermarket. 🤩 ill be back. Probably more times then im willing to admit because itll probably be because I forgot butter or something. Also. Did i mention the coffee station and the BAKERY. 😍 YUM!

Excellent customer service. Clean and well stocked store. Must try the corn chips and salsa. Friendly gentleman offering samples.

Great little store located in Pine. Not the cheapest prices but they'll have what you need. We forgot a few things when visiting a cabin in Strawberry so they saved our dinner. We also picked up some fresh banana bread and some hot chocolate which were both delicious.

Great Market! They carry ample supply of all your food and hygiene needs, sparing people the ordeal of having to drive to Payson's Walmart. The staff is wonderful!! Patient, kind, helpful, and generous. There is a deli counter for hot foods like fried chicken and steak fries, corndogs and bean/ cheese burritos. Food is great. Sells alcohol. Some giftshop type tourist items. SPOTLESS RESTROOMS. Plus they take ebt, the only other "main" store is the chevron heading towards Strawberry and they do NOT accept ebt.

First time in Ponderosa Mkt. went in for a banana, they were all green, so the produce guy offered to check another case and I was able to get a fairly ripe banana. Thanks Ponderosa for hiring such great employees. Great customer service. I also got some fresh baked out of the oven white bread and a raspberry strudel.

Great little market saves you the trouble of having to drive back into town. Plus the staff her is very nice always friendly and very helpfull. As well as its also a great place to get a nice fresh cup of hot coffee and a lil breakfast early in the morning. As well as a very fresh breads love this little place and the amazing staff

This little mkt. can be a lifesaver. They have a little of about anything you could need. The groceries are higher in price than Fry's or Walmart, but you're in the middle of nature in Pine, so you will pay for the convenience. The food is good, store always clean. Most of the staff is friendly. Some you have to be patient with,but treated kindly , you will be treated kindly right back. The deli is amazing. The staff, especially the young man, are outgoing,fun, and very personable
Some of the best soup I've eaten has been here. The chicken 🐓🍗,well, I think even the Colonel would like it. It's always hot ,crispy, and perfectly seasoned and breaded. If you can afford to pay some extra, this is an excellent 🛑 stop.
Updated: 2/26/21: Just had their churros. They were outstanding. I've been to many a Mexican restaurant (love Mexican 🌮 🥑 food), and these were as good and even better than any I've had . Their chicken 🐓🍗 breast were hot, juicy,and delectable. You won't be disappointed. 😁😊💗

Just got back from the mkt. We had some of their amazing chicken 🐔🍗 strips. Wonderfully delicious 😋🤤. The gentleman behind the counter was such a nice person and really good with customers.

Tried the corn 🐕 dog, mmmmmm . Also got a juicy chicken 🍗🐓 breast, a few strips. It made me feel like I was at a little, country diner. Just good, soul warming food. I put some pics in the photo section.

This is a wonderful market! Their fried Chicken is moist and very fresh. The staff is friendly and a pleasure to be around. They have what you need. I don't know what Pine would do without them.

Love this market grew up around here for a while moved away every time I come up here from time to time you're such a wonderful homie and small town staff the owners I've known they've known my family for such a long time I love them all they're such great people bring your kids and family stop by they have such a variety of great refreshing and awesome snacks
