Food Lion

I like shopping at Food Lion. Utilizing all their saving options (members card, coupons you can print out, other good deals)makes it an economical place to shop. Produce is always fresh - same as their meat, and there's always an associate to help. Checkout is easy and always friendly. ☺

Shelves were well stocked. Self checkout was working without any glitches.

This food lion is my favorite by far. They have self checkout. The fruits and veggies are super fresh and there is a better selection in bread here. I recommend this food lion.

good grocery store for picking up my needs on the way home

I have shopped at this Food Lion since moving to Great Bridge 10 years ago. Has always been a great experience! They almost always have what I'm looking for and the employees are some of the most courteous and people I have ever met. I am disabled and the staff go out of their way to help me. Whether it's getting things off of shelves for me or getting my groceries out to my car, they are most helpful and pleasant. I commend management for hiring and training such good workers! In addition, the produce and meat are always fresh and kept up nicely. Good job FL at Gainsborough Square!!!

Can't go wrong here. Decent selection of beer. And whatever else you need for the home...

Like many stores, there are things they stock, and things they don't. I am happy with the selection here for day to day needs. The beer selection is good, the vegetables and fruit are usually fresh, and the service is always on point. The sales are usually on point and the prices are as good as they get around here.

Update: A standard Food Lion is kinda the baseline for grocery stores and this one has filled that role for me for almost 2 decades.

Meet a really nice lady by the name of Angelica. She works in the Bakery/Deli... She has excellent customer service and a great willingness time help you with your order. Her smile is surely contagious and her personality is phenomenal❣This Food Lion is very close to my job and I will be using them for all my Deli/Bakery needs. Thank you Angelica for helping me with my order. Our family gathering was a hit❣💯

Plenty of items in stock and wide variety. A lot of items on sale or specials. IGot in and out within 5 min. Cashier was really friendly and quick to get me on my way.

Never knew Food Lion catering was so high class. I placed a last minute order for my daughter’s birthday party and FL came through like a champ. I ordered sandwich boxes and a fruit tray. Their boxes include choice of sides, small desert, and all of the accessories you will need to serve a large party. Thanks FL, you saved my little girl’s birthday party! Food Lion catering is much better than the other places who only give you the sandwiches. I will be back. Vey clean and professional establishment.

It's pretty clean, Good on in stocks and rarely have to wait in a line. It ain't awesome but you'll get your food on the table in time.

The strength of a business resides in the quality of it's employees.

This Food Lion location does very well in that area.

I've lived around the corner from this business and have shopped at it over a period of the last three years.

Over that span of time there's been stable management, and the employees have always been helpful and friendly.

I can't imagine this business run better.

The wide-open configuration and well-marked sections of the store makes it easy to find needed items. Store is neat and clean. 4 manned registers were open. Cashier (James Augsperger?) was friendly, fast and helpful.

Food Lion is my go-to store when grocery shopping. Their stores are normally clean, they have a decent selection, the prices are fairly reasonable & service is always wonderful. The days of self checkout have not hit Food Lion. Those self checkout places just tick me off. There is always customer service at this place. Not overly fancy but not bad, either.

Great store, great staff. Laurisa is your best checkout person, ALWAYS FRIENDLY, ALWAYS HELPFUL. I don't know how she does it but she makes this Food Lion a happy place. I am not being compensated for this review.

Battlefield Food Lion wonderful, clean, and the employees are the best. Prices are reasonable and the store is so clean. The manager Ms. Peggy is the best.

This is a great Food Lion. The location is convenient to Rt. 168. They have great steak selections. The prices are fair and affordable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Never too crowded.

Have great deals only thing is I need to get a MVP card then I would get way better savings. I enjoyed my shopping there.
