I worked with this store last year with managed under the man named Mike he didn't have a great atmosphere for his employees and never would really bring anything different to the table here it is now March 2 of 2023and ive decided since I've heard Ms Denise will be my manager for the next go around in this store I've had already a great start to the job with an excellent interview and great conversation with the new manager and can't wait to give this store one more try thank u Ms Denise u truly have made a change to the whole store and the impact on our customers 😀

Update: 01/31/2023 Under new management. Dollar General PLEASE don't take Miss Denise she's given our store a new and professional atmosphere. Prices were NEVER right. Now just about bank on them being right😉. This beautiful hard working lady has restored my faith in D.G. waiting in line for 30 minutes, I can't tell. All the employees seem happier and they help each other as a team should be. People you know why? Because of management cares they set and example🤗. Again THANK YOU Miss Denise beautiful lady. Support your home town businesses peoples 😉.

The cashier was extremely helpful. She even helped me save money and thats a plus. Especially the way this economy is, every dollar counts.

This store here is the greatest. The only person that pays attention to their customers is Mrs. Raven. Other than that when she’s not here you can walk in here and steal just about anything you want and they always leave the ice box unlock so if you just wanna walk off with four bags you can go in the water is free they don’t have a lock for it. Bunch of Tards.

I love Dollar. General but lately the line has been unnecessarily long. Repeatedly there is only one isle open and as many as 15 to 20 shoppers I'm line. Come on Dollar General. You already get about 2000.8rore of my money than I intend to spend. Hire more people

Store is very convenient for us who kive out here. But customer service is terrible. Most if the employees are friendly and helpful but there is one fensle employee thst makes me want to stop coming there. I have never had a good experience with her she's just rude and miserable. I have complained several times snd been told im not the only that has complained. But she's still there.

This is my "go to" DG. The staff go above and beyond and always exceed the usual requirements for customer service. The bathroom is always clean and stocked, and ya cannot beat the location. The staff are the stars here; more like y'all, please?!

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The manager goes out of his to assistant you. My go to place love it❤

Go ahead chitren, go ahead and get that toothbrush, allergy medicine, socks, and that candle for a cummlitiave total of three bucks and some change.
My dad split his Jean shorts while we were working at the Baptist church.....he split them right down the crack area. Everyone laughed and pointed with delight. He acted like it didn't bother him but it did. He wasn't wearing any underwear, so I got a glimpse into my future man hood. Not so bad. Ladies beware. Perry Blackburn also bought a pair of sweat pants.....cuz he ripped his Jean shorts. All these events happened, nothing has been embellished, no lie was told. He split his pants, I bought those items, he bought sweatpants, and he doesn't wear underwear. Love you all.

Stocked to the ceilings in every aisle but is not on shelves can someone s as say h as .

Manager was very helpful and generous today. I appreciated the way he was so nice and will definitely return.

Most employees are polite and helpful other than one really rude one one in the Southport store named Sherry older lady

Great place for a quick trip to the store, or for shopping for a while. Friendly, helpful employees, and good prices.

Employee's are very people oriented go above and beyond to assist you, that's if they are not overwhelmingly busy.
