Kroger

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews here recently. The store was clean and well-lit. The aisles were well-stocked. The produce all looked fresh. The parking lot was a good size. It is in a busier part of town, so I can imagine it gets crowded on the weekends.

Today, on this gloomy poor tina pity party type of day, Krogers saved the day. I scored this beautiful non holiday looking $21.00 candle for a 75% holiday is over discount and paid just over $4. (I got 2). So if your like me and love candles but rarely treat yourself so you can treat your kid(s), then today is for you. Jan. 9th 2024. They had 11 large 3- wick and 6 smaller 1-wick candles all the same when I was there at 12:30 this afternoon. Thank me later, pamper yourself now.

Great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Lots of prepared salads. A good deli counter and plenty of frozen treats including several local brands of ice cream. We picked up a few fresh bakery items and even some firewood (which was on sale)

Store was organized and clean and they had everything I needed and more. Everyone working was warm and friendly . I enjoyed my shopping which is not always the case if I go to another grocery store.

I like this location. The employees have always been kind and I cannot say the same about the big Anderson one. It is busy all of the time however I prefer it over the Anderson location bc Anderson is TOO busy & on multiple occasions I e health with employees who aren't kind etc! I can run through it pretty quickly and I know where things are. I just wish they wouldn't have closed the one over by Mt Carmel tobasco Rd. I've heard rumors of this location shutting down after a newer one is built. I'm not opposed to it BUT will if it's as ridiculous as Anderson is. I like everything that Anderson has....it's just now the only smaller Kroger around is this Eastgate one which you feel like you can somewhat run in and out of without having to drive through a massive parking lot, not finding a spot and also having to go through such a large store. I like that there is a smaller and a bigger Kroger available. This location is just fine ( plz bring back the Mt. Carmel one ) 🙂

Give Michael (honestly, I have no idea his title/position because he was literally doing EVERYTHING but he was younger, curly hair, glasses) a raise, a fat bonus, extra PTO, something because he’s earned it.

I stopped in to get a money order on 8/16/23 at around 6:20 PM. While assisting me, he had at least 3-4 coworkers ask for help on various things. He helped them, he helped me, he delegated firmly but politely, he‘s obviously very knowledgeable about his job (and everyone else’s jobs).

Krogers was wiped out of everything on the shelves! But, there was a whole army of workers restocking them. Almost as many vendors as customers. So I’m sure what they didn’t have today it’ll definitely be there tomorrow!

I have never had a bad experience at Kroger. Staff is always friendly and we'll informed, which some stores lack these days. And Kroger always keeps us coming back for more, wether it's the great prices, or just a routine trip that week, we love it. The place is usually busy, but I've never had to wait too long for checkout. The store is kept very clean and in order. So no tripping over the isles. I definitely recommend Kroger over any other grocery store, period.

Good prices, competent help that's easy to find and the fastest check out in the business. The app is amazing. Use your phone to find out what aisle in the store a product is! The marketplace Kroger stores are some really impressive grocery stores. They are absolutely humongous. They have a lot of things that some other grocery stores do not have. You just need to go and take a look for yourself.

Always great. We go there every week. Want Eastgate Krogers to stay. Don't want a Super Store.

I used scan and go for the first time at Kroger on Beechmont Avenue. What a brilliant idea! I just scanned everything and put it in my bags as I went along and when I got to check out the procedure was very simple. The clerk verified several purchases and Scan & Go is the way to go.

Stop by on the way to work sometimes to buy donuts, orange juice and chocolate milk for breakfast. Not a "marketplace" Kroger but very well-stocked. The salad bar has a large variety of items to choose from. Don't forget to go online and download coupons to your Kroger Shopper's Card.

Store was clean and was able to find my items fairly easy with all the signage available.

With all the alleged supply chain issues since the beginning of covid it can be a challenge finding the items needed for our homes, family, and pets that we've always taken for granted. For a while it was pretty rough going into the store and aisle after aisle of empty shelves. Thankfully Kroger has managed to get things mostly back to fully stocked. Now if we could get the inflated prices to come back down that would be something to add another 5 stars for.

This is a decent Krogers, not quite as large as some of the other Krogers, but is has almost anything you would be looking for. Except Kombucha. I cant seem to find it here. This store is also connected to a strip mall with a Jersey Mikes and a dew other businesses.

Great place to shop

I will always shop at Kroger. The variety of products is incredible. Every time I try a new recipe I know Kroger will have what I need. Their produce is always fresh and high quality. They have an incredible amount diverse ethnic foods. Their meat and seafood is equally as impressive. This is my grocery store of choice.

This market place Kroger is very nice and state of the art. Has the bag an go self checkout reg self checkout Starbucks plus some. Always quick and lines are never that long. Can grab and few items and get out. Or go full on shopping and still check out fairly quick.
