The Local Butcher & Market

The Local Butcher and Market located inside Plant Street Market is great for dinner inspiration. Since I’m the one that plans/cooks most of the dinners in my household, I love to come here when I’m out of ideas. I can get protein and sides and take all the guesswork out of the question, what’s for dinner?????

We’ve purchased a variety of steaks, pork chicken, and sides and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and informative and the quality of meats is fantastic.
It’s a little pricier than the grocery store but worth it based on quality and taste.

I always get my ribeyes here because they are so freaking delicious. I don’t even know why I invested in a set of Cutco knives because I can literally cut the ribeyes I get from here with my fork, that’s how amazing they are. Not to mention they are grass fed cows and you can truly taste the quality. The other day I was at Costco and decided I’d get some Ribeyes from there (being a little lazy) so I didn’t have to make two stops and go into the plant street market. Let me tell you, BIG MISTEAK lol! Not even comparable, I even made sure to grab the higher quality USDA Prime thinking I cannot go wrong. I will never get my ribeyes from anywhere else other than TLB. Everything else I’ve gotten from there has been great as well. Love their vegetable options and varieties. The owner Vince is always so helpful and takes great care of me and my family when we come in for some goods. You truly get what you pay for and I promise you, make the extra stop for some steaks you won’t regret!

We bombed our Easter dinner and the Owner met us down at the shop and opened up the shop just for us to be able to salvage our Easter Dinner! He went above and beyond for us!!! Highly Recommend this place!!!

This was my first time trying this location and it was AMAZING. I had the a full chicken, garlic corn on the cob, twice backed potatoes, chicken salad, and veggies! The quality of the food was amazing, and it was all seasoned so perfectly. I will definitely be back to get more!

WOW! This place rocks. Quality steaks, chicken, pork, and specialty meats. You can even request items that aren't in the shop that can be ordered. Talk about service! These guys really know what they're doing. Have to try it out and get their specialty made side items.

Ordered a prime roast and suffice to say, this would be my first time cooking one. Picked up a couple of days later and the presentation was perfect. Wrapped, cut off the bone and tied. Owner gave me some tips on cooking the prime rib. The customer service is superb and the cuts of meat are plenty.

Fantastic! I happen to be in Winter Garden last week and was asking one of my clients if they knew of a Good Butcher in town. I wanted 6 nice filet mignon steaks. And Nice is Exactly what I got! I’m sorry I can’t remember the guys name but I owe him a Tip! The best steaks I have eaten in a very Long Time. He took the time to cut and trim all of the Steaks. My guest were blown away and kept asking me where did you get these?
As far as the Price goes in comparison to other butcher shops very competitive.
I Will definitely be returning. Great Job Guys!!!

Every piece of meat and homemade side dish are absolutely excellent! We travel to Winter garden for all our Meats!!

When I want quality beef or lamb, I don't mind driving 25 minutes to get to The Local Butcher. While I was there yesterday to pick up two and a half pounds of boneless Prime ribeye, ai decided to try some of their house made chorizo. I made a chorizo hash for breakfast this morning, and it was beautiful! The chorizo has great flavor and isn't really greasy as chorizo tends to be.

In general, I have bought multiple Prime tomahawks, Wagyu sirloin, Prime ribeyes Prime strips and Prime filets from here. I have even pre-ordered a 45 day aged ribeye. All of it has been top quality.

Fantastic quality meats! We got a few different items to try. We bought a large tritip and marinated it all day and reverse seared it. AMAZING. Fantastic quality. It fed six of us, and there were no leftovers. I can't wait to try their aged steaks!

Never have we gotten a bad cut here. They aren't the cheapest. Not sure they want to be a high-volume butcher. But! What they do provide is absolutely the best available. When I need GREAT steaks in the area, I do not hesitate to go here. They have NEVER disappointed me. KUDOS! OH! And ask any of the folks here for advice, and they really KNOW their products. LOVE IT!

First time coming here and hearing about this place. We arrived when it opened on a Sunday and they had a good selection still available. Everything turned out perfect later. Not to over powering with seasonings or marinated to heavy. Will return in the future. Service was good. The gentleman I had was helpful and knowledgeable. They do have some sides also from marinated mushrooms to doubled bake potato’s.

Vince and Pierson are the real deal! I had an issue with the Winter Park location with a gift card and these guys took care of it and turned my terrible customer service experience into an amazing one! I would definitely go to this location over the Winter park one!

Being from South Louisiana, I have looked (unsuccessfully) for great Boudin in central Florida for over 25 years. Sure, I can make it myself, but what a mess and time suck!! Well, the search is over!! I purchased the first batch, and Vince asked me to give him some feedback if I wanted it adjusted. He did great on the first batch, but knocked it out of the park when I gave him a couple of notes. I will definitely be back, again and again and again......

A must visit inside of the Plant Street Market building. They are a meat butcher and have a huge case of both meat and veggie / side options as well. The staff is always friendly, even greeted me at my most recent visit - which was before their opening hours - and offered to help me anyways. I was just passing through but it was incredibly thoughtful.

The case is easy to see and all options look amazing and are super reasonably priced. I love getting things on our way out of the area so we can make them later. This area in general is a bit of a hike from our house, but when we're here, we make it a point to stop in!!

A must visit location within the Plant St. Market building. Amazing options and excellent staff.

Called ahead to order four 8oz steaks for my husband’s birthday. They had it wrapped in their fridge with my name on it when I got there! Super happy with my customer service experience. The filets were outstanding!! I’ve never found really good steaks at local grocery stores and these were of restaurant quality. Also impressed with their prices! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a local butcher.

I've been by here a few times, and always had a great experience. The house-made sausages are delicious, and the guys behind the counter are always friendly and happy to talk. My wife got me a brisket (they stock Prime!) from here for Christmas, and after 16 hours under some sweet peach smoke, it changed my life forever. 6/5 will be back for more.

This is our go to place for all things meat or grill related. Need sides? Check! Want a 4 pound New York strip? Check!! Honestly they have the best selection around. Their quality is amazing. And hey guess what they even have chocolate sea salt bacon candy bars!! The staff here is very nice and always willing to lend a recommendation!! Stop by See them and grab some meat, Grill it, eat it, rinse and repeat!!!
