Goodwill Store and Donation Center

This goodwill was so good and willing. It was so preppy in there. It was just as preppy as I imagined. No lulu lemon though 😡. But I did find some preppy simply southern shirts. 6$ for 2! That’s pretty preppy. They lacked drunk elephant skincare so I’m a little mad. There was no used preppy Stanley’s. But many preppy Starbucks cups. Found preppy Christmas vineyard vine shirt. Was a little too preppy for me so I didn’t buy. There was some things that looked so bright they could be highlighter costumes, but that was preppy. Enjoyed my preppy experience and loved the staff even though I didn’t talk to them.

Someone gave a one ⭐ Review four months back so I had to share my thoughts. I have shopped this goodwill store twice a week for almost three years, the employees have come and gone but never have I had a bad experience with anyone being rude. One lady I enjoy seeing every week is Annie , always acknowledging people as they come in the door , always a good upbeat attitude.
“ the movies “ well if you’re shopping in a thrift store if any kind , wouldn’t you check the “ used box the movie or CD came in ? I mean honestly dude that’s on you to check not the hard working people at the registers. If it’s in a box that isn’t originally sealed then check inside the box !!! Your one star is a reflection of yourself not the Black Mountain goodwill ! Peace out

Excellent service, and kind people

Always friendly people, always find something I want (except for a belt, but I'm 99% sure I'm cursed when it comes to belts so take that with a grain of salt!)! Of all the Goodwill stores in the area this one is the best imo.

So, its not that price.... Went to buy a jacket from the section marked "Mens Jackets $5.00" when I went to pay for it, the cashier decided it was $8.00 instead even though it wasn't marked otherwise. Why even mark prices? Just let the cashier decide on a whim. I'm sure they would have lost on their profits, being all thier inventory is donated and all...

UPDATE
Went in a week later, the jacket was still there. Explained the situation to the manager and sold it to me for five bucks and also said he would talk to the employee! Yep, great store again!

The employees were nice, the store was well organized, and we found a few treasures!

Fairly nice goodwill, as far as goodwills go. Staff was friendly and selection was fairly large. Men's section was quite limited, but that is not unusual for goodwills in general.

Always fun to browse as things always change. My go to place for books. I am an avid reader & bought 12 books, a planter, & a stool. I go there frequently

The store was organized and the staff were friendly while assisting customers. We made a purchase and one of the staff members helped load it in the van.

I love going here you never know what you'll find.

The store is absolutely packed we stuff. It was awesome. We will be going back again.
