The Edgefield General store have nice employees and show good hospitality when a person walks in the door. They have amazing ice cream of all flavors good milkshakes and have fair prices when buying these deserts. A lot of people starting to catch on about the business when it got published in the newspaper a few months ago. If you are from the Edgefield county area or a traveler come to the Edgefield General store in Edgefield SC located at the town square.

Definitely the place to go in Edgefield for ice cream! Quaint, historic interior. Friendly staff. Interesting gifts, pottery, and other items for sale. Refreshing air conditioning on a hot summer day!!

Very fine ladies run the counter and are VERY knowledgeable about the towns history. The milkshakes are the best I've ever had!!!!!
