Edgefield Post-Acute (formerly The Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center)

My mom has been here several months, all in all we're very satisfied with the care she gets. The financial office has been awesome about helping me with her financial paperwork.
My husband's first trip there today he even commented on how it didn't smell like a nursing home.

The facility was clean and smelled pleasant. The staff said hello and were friendly .

Wonderful facility. My mother suffers from dementia and it broke my heart when we were no longer able to care for her ourselves in our home. She was able to get a spot at Edgefield Post Acute and we have been very pleased with the care she receives. Her room is always clean when we visit, she really enjoys the food, she is able to walk around and go outside, we are able to visit (within set visiting hours) any day we are able and they keep us updated about anything having to do with her health and care. From the outside looking in it may seem like a smaller facility but from experience I can say that patients here receive superior care from larger more well known facilities in the area that keep their patients in the “memory support” unit kept like caged animals and show no compassion or kindness. I trust that my mother is safe and well cared for at Edgefield Post Acute.

I work for Walton Options for Independent Living, an agency that helps individuals with disabilities increase their socialization opportunities. I was welcomed by the staff, particularly recall Juanita and Jessica, who made sure that we had good introductions and access to anything we needed to help the residents we were working with. The place was clean and friendly many of the residents conversed with us.... 1 nurse named Wanda particularly helped us find our way around when necessary. We look forward to being of joint service to the residents.

I just want to say thanks to all the staff for caring for my grandmother for the last 5 months. The nurses she had were so attentive to her needs. I know it is a difficult job caring for so many patients everyday and night. I thanked them personally a good many times. I pray that each patient gets the right care especially my friend Dorothy Gilchrist that is in room 119. She was my grandmother's roommate until February 23rd that is when my grandmother was called to her Godly home. God bless you all and all the patients that need a place away from home.

You rarely hear positive feedback about nursing facilities, but I have nothing but praise for Edgefield Acute Care. The management and staff are just what you'd hope for. The nurses are caring and attentive, and the building is clean and does not have the odors that you might find elsewhere.

The place was very clean and the ladies at the desk were so friendly and caring. The lady at the reception desk was friendly and helpful. I don't have 1 single complaint. My husband is doing well.

Therapy and the nurse staff was great . The nurse team push me to get better.

Im at Edgefield Post Acute for Rehab I discharge back home tomorrow . Rehab team was allsome and the nurse team got my pain under controll. The Discharge Planner got me set to discharge home tomorrow . Thank Edgefield Post Acute Team .

Im a patent here at Edgefield rehab center. I have no idea what the nurses are making, but whatever it is, it sure isnt enough! Those ladies work their buns off trying to take care of us. I try to treat them with respect, asking please, thanking them, and they like a little humour in their conversatons with them. Even the new CMAs get dumped on. Those girls hustle as they need the job. But, on the other hand, we have some nuts here. They can be a handful! My sincere cudos to those in uniform! Brad Livingston

Enjoy the stay at time it can get noisy. Therapy was great, some of the help was very nice and helpful.

I enjoyed being at the Nursing Home in Edgefield, SC this morning ... playing games and giving out trinities to the residents.

Just started but so far so good. As of right now I have no complaints

Had a wonderful nurse Nalie Mason and Joanne and Therapy was awesome
