Very happy with this store -- finally a decent bread bakery in the neighborhood. Great prices. Lots of deals. Good produce and excellent frozen foods. Lidl is from Europe and they have a lot of imported foods that are harder to get in the US, especially it seems around Christmas and Easter, and still at decent to amazing prices.

So happy Columbia Heights finally has its Lidl. Unbeatable prices, good fresh selection and always a fun surprise to be had in the Aisle of Wonder at the back. Friendly security guard told me they've already decided to stay open one hour later due to popular demand. Danke Lidl!

I definitely recommend shopping here during the day or especially the morning hours when everything is very well stocked and the store is not busy. I find it very pleasant come on and walking into the store you are greeted with the smells from the bakery which are amazing, and a nice little selection of plants and flowers. Does store itself is small to medium-sized and I like that they carry usually just one option of things. There are some name brand items, and most are under the Lidl brand. Their produce is generally excellent, and their prices are really phenomenal. Since the store is based in Germany they have a lot of European Foods imported.

Best grocery store in DMV, I love the bake goods natural and fresh, cashiers are very kind and helpful, veggies are super fresh thank you so much I am so grateful for the humble pricing!!! I love LIDL👍🏽💯❤

Today was my first visit innthis new grocery store, and I was suprised to see the variety of products that they have. I always thought that they strictly sold groceries here, but after walking thru the aisles I noticed other general household items as well. My plan was just to get a few things to carry me thru the week. I picked-up a gallon of whole milk, a half gallon of Tropicana orange juice, 1 pound of ground beef, bananas, and laundry detergent. The bakery section was very tempting, so I figured why not gwt some fresh glazed donuts. $.99 for two! Good luck finding that somewhere else!

I walked into Lidl for the first time ever and I was not disappointed! I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed getting low priced orchids, succulents and delicious croissants, pretzels and yummy pastries for unbelievable prices. I kept wondering if I was still in the same decade lol. The senior manager Titus gave me a thorough breakdown of how things run/where to find various items. Overall, the staff was quite friendly and attentive. I got plants, flowers, a notable amount of groceries plus multiple learning items for my 1st grader all for less than $100. Oh, and I got a 20 count box of kettle popcorn for FREE! This is undoubtedly my favorite supermarket now!

Excellent customer service. Shout out to Adrienne who helped me download the app for savings! Love their croissants too, so yum. Overall prices are much cheaper than elsewhere.

Alexus introduced me to this store she shows her true loyalty when it comes to her grocery shopping!! She told me about the great deals you get when you download the “Lidl” app and she showed me a guy named Alex that has world class customer service!! Meeting Alex for the first time is a true blessing. He’s very welcoming and respectful!! It’s not a lot of good people like him. I may need him to work for me 😁

This lidl's has a very nice bakery and the produce is very good the employees are very friendly and helpful.

I was very excited for The grand opening….the store is Amazing I just been supporting ever since…I LOVE YOU LIDL!!! ….. they need seats for kids in the shopping carts….
