This store packs SO much into a smallish space. Very impressive. They had exactly the painting supplies I needed at great prices. Friendly staff was very helpful. Will definitely return.

Excellent store! I went there to get some caulking not knowing how much stuff they actually have there. They have everything you need to fix up stuff around the house! The entire staff was extremely friendly and they know where everything is in the store like the back of their hand. They’re very knowledgeable on everything there and very professional! I really appreciated how good they are at what they do.

The service is top notch. C & D helped me out with drill bits and also educated me on a few things I may need for my home. I’ll go here first for any hardware needs or questions I may have. Thank you!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Every time I’ve needed something, they have come through. Whether it was a sequence of pipes/connectors to drain a dehumidifier through an external wall... or devising a makeshift cap for a busted pipe during the freezes, these folks go above and beyond to help their customers problem solve.

During the freeze of Feb 2021 plumbing supplies were sold out throughout Houston. Nobody had a 3/4” CPVC cap in stock to stop my burst pipe.

Mike came up with this creative solution with whatever was in stock to stop my leak until a plumber could be called in. You would never get this level of service at Home Depot or Lowes. And I was in and out of the store in 7 minutes.

Called looking for chainsaw parts. Gentleman that picked up was very polite, and did not have part in stock locally. He checked his distrubution warehouse and distributors for me. Although he couldn't help me in the end, he closed our conversation with a list of other stores for me to try. Thank you!

My favorite hardware store! Don't be fooled by the appearance from the outside: the store is actually quite large and has an unbelievable amount of stuff inside. The employees are so available, helpful, and knowledgeable that it is much more efficient to shop here than at big box hardware stores. I have visited here several times so far and have always been greeted and offered assistance by an employee right away. And best of all, their prices are competitive.

This is a great little store with helpful staff and a huge selection. Never disappoints. I love their huge selection of bolts and screws.

About 9 months I bought a 1 gallon garden sprayer that sprang a leak. I didn’t save my receipt but talk to the manager there and she agreed to replace the defective sprayer with a new one. Great service!!

Amazing what they cram into this little store, my first stop for supplies for small home repairs. And unlike the big box stores where you can wander the aisles for what you're looking for, there is always a friendly employee ready to help you here. And quick, in and out.

Everyone is always helpful and easy to work with at C&D, I often times find things the big box stores are out of or I find it here for a cheaper price. Always worth stopping here first. They also had parts in stock no one in town had after our house filter canister froze and cracked

It's a curious place. It has all of the stuff you'd find at a hardware store, but it's so tightly packed that it's more like a jumble sale. I found half of what I was looking for on my own (a proud moment!) and had to be led to the rest of the things on my list. The staff are nice, helpful, and pretty knowledgeable. It's just very Heights-ish. So if you don't like the Heights, it might rub you the wrong way.

Wonderful hidden gem and Houston staple! Great sport for hardware needs as well as gifts. Very unique gift options for all types of individuals. 10/10 would recommend heading in there the next time you need a gift for that person you never know what to get or just something nice for yourself or home. The staff is friendly, welcoming, helpful & beyond kind!

Super friendly and knowledgeable - there is always someone there to help you and someone there who can answer any questions about your project. Ive been going for 17 years and will never go to the big box stores. I can safely say this is my favorite store in Houston - I love this place!

Prices are not much higher than the "big box" home improvement stores.

Great place, have been coming here for years. Wonderful customer service. Can get service here not available at box stores...tool sharpening, screen replacement, etc. Prices a little higher than box stores but more than fair since ratio of staff to customers.is exponentially higher. Buy local!

This big little store in the heights has everything you need for any project. The availability of the smallest repair part, washer, fitting automotive bolts (sae and metric) is just unbelievable. Also, very friendly. Just found it and now use weekly.
