Pyburns Farm Fresh Foods

First time visiting this location. Matter of fact I haven't visited Pyburns since I was probably 8 years old and the store was located on South Post Oak. I was in town and on a mission for great meat prices.

The parking lot isn't the biggest, but it's adequate. The moment I walked in, I was genuinely greeted. I immediately headed to the meat section looking for turkey wings. I found that and so much more!

Being that I'm handling fresh meat I appreciate the grocery bags being readily available. I didn't notice any hand sanitizer or wipes, but maybe I missed them.

The team working the nest counter are gracious and attentive. Every customer who walked up was acknowledged quickly. And one lady couldn't find what she needed, so the gentleman came out to help her. I needed more browsing time and they didn't rush me.

I did browse the rest of the store. The produce is some of the prettiest I've seen around. The general grocery store has a fair selection of items. I'm thinking a quick trip versus full on shopping. Some prices are more than average, but that's normal for this size store.

Overall, a great shopping experience. Mission accomplished.

I usually get dirty rice. It is delicious. The dirty rice has gotten a lot more expensive than when I first started to purchase it. The large pan is $48, but I needed it for a large gathering. The meat market is always busy but they manage to greet the customers friendly and timely.

Since the old owner's death ant years ago and kudos to the new owners...yessss this place is still a staple in our family with their outstanding customer service experience by far top-notch always!!!!

Love the boudin, meats, and homemade sausages at Pyburns! Went to order a turkey, pans of dirty rice and boudin for Thanksgiving. Always fresh!

Love the fresh cuts of meat here. They seem to have everything I want, don't have to make numerous stops.

Parking is not an issue. Great sausage, boudin, and boudin stuffed meats. Highly recommend

The smell inside the store is not so nice, but it's a meat market. The fresh boudin and fresh meats stuffed with boudin (Cornish hens, turkey wings, etc) is amazing! Worth a try!

One of the best meat markets in town.

Service was quick and friendly. Prices were very reasonable. Their spicy pork boudin was so good. I brushed it with olive oil and baked at 375 F for 25 minutes. I will be going back!

Great place to buy hearty cuts of beef that you can't get in most stores and a complete selection of Creole sausage and boudin.
