After following Caitlin's shop for awhile, and being inspired by all of her work, I decided to reach out with a custom request to create a mother's ring. The experience was amazing. Caitlin showed great excitement and passion for her work throughout the process. I could not have been more imporessed with the process and the end product, which I love! I would not hesitate to recommened anyone looking for a more personal touch to reach out to Caitlin.

I worked with Caitlin to design my own engagement ring. I had heard about her through some coworkers a few years back, and started following her business page on socials. Flash forward to the holidays, and I was given a budget to design the engagement ring of my dreams, wherever I wanted. Caitlin immediately came to mind. I knew after our consult call, she was going to get me exactly what I wanted. She kept me up to date with any changes or timelines. If you have a set budget, Caitlin will work with you to be in that budget exactly, we did not go over even $1 of what we spoke about. Caitlin is very very lovely to work with. I know I will be a repeat customer.....after all I need a wedding band! As for my engagement ring, it honestly blows me away, and I can't believe I get to have something so gorgeous.

I made an appointment with Caitlin Hicks Design when a family member (who lives in Monticello) recommended her based on the work she had done for other members of the community. I had some rings from an estate that I wanted to repurpose but didn’t have an idea about what i wanted, We met and she came up with an awesome design for a pendant and sent me a rendering. We proceeded and the finished product was amazing. She was able to piece together the sentimental pieces that would never have been worn otherwise and married them together. I love how it all turned out! Her pricing and her creativity is amazing. Thank you Caitlin!

My Fiancé found Caitlin all on his own, and together they secretly took two of my loves - the Lotus flower, and the color purple (via another of my favorites - amethyst!) and created this amazing engagement ring that I received on Christmas morning! Caitlin and her assistant went above and beyond to give us the most amazing experience throughout the entire process - before, during, and even after completion. They truly went out of their way to make us feel special, and we felt very well taken care of. Caitlin handled the entire process with the utmost professionalism, and we can't wait to work with her on designing our wedding bands, as well! We were so blessed to have found her!

Caitlin is fantastic, plain and simple. She has a ton of experience and knowledge in her field and takes a lot of pride in her work, so I had no hesitation in trusting her advice. She made the entire process much easier and more comfortable than I'd imagined. She never pressured or pushed me in any direction but helped me figure it out by giving her seasoned perspective. She didn't sell me into anything or try to get me outside my budget even for a moment. Mind you, this is all after beginning the appointment by telling her I had no idea what I was doing, so I would have been a sitting duck for anyone else. Caitlin truly went above and beyond in every aspect and delivered the most beautiful, radiant ring. My fiancée is purely in love with it. I could go on and on, the diamond, the story of getting the finished ring (trust me...), but Caitlin held strong the entire time and never wavered in giving me her honest thoughts and opinion. I may move out of Illinois, but I will 100% be seeing Caitlin the next time I need jewelry. I felt confident in every decision and every step thanks to her.

One-on-one consultations with her really make it a personal experience with an expert designer. She can design your dream piece regardless of budget down to the finest detail — and those details do make such a difference. She gets to know you, your style preferences and gives wonderful advice from conception of the idea to the final piece. She collaborates with you if you have design ideas or asks questions if you don’t. She will walk you through the entire process at prices that compare to stores that give an average (or less than average) experience. I highly recommend Caitlin!!! You won’t regret it. She is a great listener and is patient with questions. Oh, and her work is breathtaking! I have worked with her on several pieces, too.

Caitlin guides you. She listens and truly has a desire to help her clients! My engagement/wedding ring was my great-grandmother's. Caitlin treats my ring set as if she designed it herself. Over the years Caitlin has repaired/replaced prongs as it is a vintage piece worn daily. With her guidance, one small alteration (Rhodium plating the band) has completely changed the look of the ring and it's even more gorgeous than I could have imagined. For me, the best value was the education, since that was helped me really trust her with the design. Caitlin helped me understand the technical and artistic principles that guide the decisions in jewelry design, including the special considerations related to my gemstone. Also, I don't wear jewelry much, so I didn't know what I was looking for. She was great about telling me about different features and was very efficient in helping me tease out what I do and don't like.

She's a quick communicator, was great about giving me updates, and is extremely picky about her goldsmiths. I'm so glad I got the opportunity to work with her and I'm looking forward to working with her again!

Caitlin was super friendly, and listened to the story behind the rings I wanted to have reset. She was easy to work with and listened to what I was looking for. She quickly picked up what I was envisioning and provided designs that made choosing just one very difficult. The final product is spectacular. Exactly what I had pictured in my mind.
