Great steaks! Rob was super friendly and knowledgeable about the steaks. I'd order from him 10 out of 10

Bought a box from Rob late last fall and could not be happier! Initial price for a box of steaks was a pretty high but we were able to make a nice deal. Every Steak was juicy and delicious! Steak lunch thursdays became a thing at our shop and now all the guys want to get a box!

I have been doing business with them for 2 years now. The portions are not huge but the steak is pretty good. I've seen reviews that the store is cheaper and better. I dont believe that for one second. They are the only company I get my steak from and have had no issues at all with there reps or customer service. They are very friendly and work with you on price. I would say to anyone try it at least once and I promise you'll be calling them back. As well they do accept EBT which is amazing.

My friends and family have been doing business with them for the past 12 years now.

The facts are: This is a mobile grocer/vendor like Schwan's. They distribute restaurant quality steak chicken seafood and pork. The majority of their business is generated by their sales reps door to door. Because of the nature of thier business they have many complaints but do your own research. The meat is tender and juicy when cooked correctly. The price is negotiable and sales reps will often lower the price considerably depending on circumstances. Door to door is unusual but this is not a scam.

They're good guys so be nice to them and don't be afraid to barter. But they ARE salesmen so Never accept the first price they give you without question. If you can't talk them down then the price is probably at its lowest. No matter how creative thier pitch is, the fact is that it is good meat at a good price. That's all. It won't give you wings anymore than a Red Bull.

My opinions: The steak and chicken are the best things on the menu. Know what your getting. They have a lot of different beef bundles of various quality. Pay more and Get the good stuff!

Iowa Steaks Salesmen make a great example of what NOT to do in sales.

The salesman we encountered walked into our workplace and started looking around without any permission to do so. He finally made his way to our company president's office and just started pitching their product.

- He did not introduce himself
- He did not ask for her name.

He had terrible manners. After he began pitching he then said to her "I'm sure YOU couldn't be the owner." She said, "yes, in fact, I am". Without acknowledging how offensive he'd been, he went right on to say "Well the way to your employees' hearts is grass-fed beef."

When he realized he wasn't going to get any sales from her, he moved right to our administrative assistant and said "What about you, little lady, steaks could be a great way to make your husband happy." We finally had to tell him he needed to leave, as he had not been invited in, to which he retorted "You're already looking at my material". We told him to go and he just left.

We didn't even have to try the product to know none of us will ever be customers of Iowa Steaks.

Total Jersey Shore Tool bag sales guy comes into my business today trying to solicit our business with a real slimy sales pitch, asks one of my female sales associates to come out and look at my meat! I hear this and ask him to leave now at which point he starts getting very aggressive and belligerent with me as the business owner.
I ask him to leave again and I'll be calling the police, which I did, turns out they were soliciting without a permit and will be issued a citation.
Go figure, Scumbags!

Don’t buy!!!! Convincing sales person, but when you defrost, there’s nothing but Flavorless Fatty meat with lots of grizzle!! Even the hamburger!! They’ll do NOTHING to correct it or refund!!! After having 2 conversations, now they won’t answer or return calls or texts!!

I am really angry this morning!!!

Rob from Iowa Steaks, how can you sleep at night and feel good about supporting your family through cheating the elderly and low income people?

Door to door meat salesman took $329 from my 90 year old father who lives on a fixed income. He promised he’d deliver the goods that he did not have on hand at the time.

All phone numbers have been disconnected! There is no way to get in touch with the company!

Please share this message and let these people know this predatory behavior is not acceptable!!!

Would give zero stars if possible. Seems like a common theme - Dale Peterson said they were out of chicken so he would bring it next week, I know how stupid to say yes but we did, that was 2/3/18, today 11/16/18 still have not heard from him. Have called many times but no chicken. Plus the perch taste terrible, some of the steaks were good others were very tough.

The product that Iowa Steak is pushing is not fit for human consumption. I don't feed my dog their product. The salesman Rob is less than professional; worse than the product he calls "steak".

Run as far and fast as you can away from theses people.I don't know what they say their selling. but your local grocery store is 100% better and less expensive.
Heed this warning they are absolute crooks.

Avoid this company at all costs. F Rating by the Better Business Bureau. They utilize pushy, aggressive door to door sales to push their awful product.

ish. I wouldnt feed this rubber to a dog that i didnt like. Throwing what i have left in the garbage. Lesson learned. Do Not Buy.

Complete scam, do not buy from these guys, "fillets" and not tenderloin!! flavor OK, but texture tough. Cannot get ahold of representative for return. Very dissatisfied. Not even sure want to try the other things, look at other reviews on web

The salesman came to a closed community. I explained to him he was not allowed to solicit here. After I left he tried to pick a fight with my husband!

I cooked the steak and it was terrible,so I cooked another one, still terrible I am going to try a couple in a a instapot.

Steaks are tough and chewy..now can't get hold of anyone and website is shut down and no one available by phobe..

Complete scam, do not trust them with a credit card. Should be put out of business.
