The Buzz Coffee & Cafe

This is my fiancé and I’s favorite local breakfast/coffee shop. I always get the honey cubano and it is the perfect drink for someone looking for a lot of flavor but not overly sweet. What really makes this place shine, however, is their waffle selection. They have dozens of different waffle varieties all with extremely clever and tasty flavor combinations. We always try a different waffle whenever we go. Our favorites have been the cranberry chicken and the cinnamon sugar bacon one (I think it’s called pigs can fly?). The prices are also very fair so it’s a no brainer to stop by for a fun breakfast on the weekends.

Our family visited The Buzz for the first time today and we will definitely be going back! Great coffee, amazing waffles, and a huge egg sandwich made our family very happy. My husband and I ordered different waffles and shared. There are so many more I want to try! The Vegan cheezy spinach was spectacularly crunchy and savory. Yum! Best of all, the owner and crew are friendly, fun and fast! Check this place out!

This was an unexpectedly awesome find hidden in a strip mall in Burnsville! This cute Cafe has a good-sounding breakfast menu, but it's their very long list of waffles made literally dozens of different ways that stood out to me. I tried the cookie dough waffle and a "savory" waffle with bacon, jalapenos, and chocolate chips. Both waffles were sturdy, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside-- just generally well made. The cookie dough waffle is exactly as good as I hoped it would be, a real sweetness overload. The bacon/jalapeno/chocolate chips was a really tasty combination-- I wish they had used fresh jalapenos instead of pickled, but it was really good, and I'd definitely eat it again (actually I likely won't-- too many other things to try!). My friend had one of the fruit options and she really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the menu. As an FYI - They also had vegan and GF options.

Edit to add: back again to try the bacon and cheese waffle, the banana pudding waffle, and the apple crisp waffle. Bacon and cheese was good; banana pudding was excellent; apple crisp needed more of the filling but tasted great. Can't wait to go back again!

One of those hidden gems that is way more than a coffee shop. The food is really good and I highly recommend for breakfast or lunch.

Love supporting local cafes that aren't a franchise. Service with kindness and heart. Food is delicious. BTW this place serves Hogwarts Butter Beer for Harry Potter fans. The Buzz has vegan/vegetarian separate menu and a whole menu book just for waffles. Come check this cozy and quiet Buzz Cafe out! Won't disappoint.

The menu is joyfully extensive - so many options that all look delicious. I've been just twice but had a great experience both times sitting and chatting with friends while eating an out of this world waffle ... and coffee =)

We had the Ruben, a Blueberry Lemon Waffle, Cinnamon Roll Waffle, Iced Chai Latte, and the Taylor Swift/ Pride celebration drink called “You Painted Me Golden”. Everything was delicious and they have a huge selection. Even though it was a Sunday and around Brunch time they were not too busy but very quick. Also everything was such a low price when they could have definitely charged more, not that I’m complaining!! Good Wifi and parking too. Only wish it was nice out so that we could have ate outside. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and so we all had such a great experience! ♥ Next time we are in the area we are sure to come back!

Visited for the first time and was very impressed! Cute space with welcoming staff who was kind and attentive. I appreciated the clear signage explaining where to put dishes, the wifi password, what items they recycle, etc. I had an iced latte and a cinnamon roll waffle and both were delicious.

Cute little coffee and waffle shop. I had a honey latte and the pesto savory waffle. Both were very good. My husband had a savory waffle and liked it. My friends had a nutela strawberry waffle, a club waffle, and a bacon cheddar waffle, and they liked all of them too.

I will just come out of my shell and say it—I am NUTS about peanut butter! So how ‘bout peanut butter, whipped cream, AND butterscotch chips on one waffle? That’s some spread sorcery… Pure whipped waffle wizardry 🤭 🌟🔮

No surprise to see The Buzz working such magic. They don’t just elevate waffles—they press the button for the top floor and let your taste buds enjoy the ride 😋

Fluffy, easy to cut with a fork waffles are topped with whatever you want, no exaggeration. I’ve never seen such a creative menu at a café 👌 And if ya can’t decide on one, they’ll let you go halfsies and spell out two flavors!

No complaints on these three, but that first peanut butter powerhouse was my favorite. Whip-softened waffle just melts in your mouth 🤩 Every bite was uniquely euphoric, perfectly paired with a pipin’ hot coffee ☕

Gosh it’s fun to Buzz it up! Bummer that the Plymouth location has waved goodbye, but thank goodness the Burnsville one is still rollin’ out these tantalizing treats 👏

I’m working in Minnesota for a few weeks. I’m staying in Eagan and have been looking for a vegan restaurant. Today, I found The Buzz. They offer a whole vegan menu! I’m glad I didn’t have to go all the way to Minneapolis to find some good options. I had the vegan country breakfast waffle. It was really good and they don’t skimp you on the toppings. The waffle itself was covered with cheese and bacon. I paired it with the light roast coffee–that was good, too! The only caveat was that they were out of hot sauce :p

I was introduced to Buzz Cafe via a friend through an Instagram posting. She raved about the waffles and the photo sealed the deal. By the weekend I was there trying it out myself. It met the hype. Since that day, I’ve been there multiple times. Each time trying a new waffle. That is until I landed on the Cheddar Bacon waffle. I can go no further. For the rest of my life my foot will never release the brake and let me accelerate to another. Yes, it’s that good. Glad I was introduced to The Buzz. I look forward to my next Cheddar Bacon waffle. Never take it off your menu. Please. 🙏

If you are looking for a waffle house south of the river, you must give this place a try! They have such a variety of toppings, everyone will be able to find something. The only hard part is deciding which one to try first. Now, with that said - you can split your waffle as shown in one of my pics. My mom ordered half pecan and half cookie dough. - if you are vegan, they have options for you! If you don't care for waffles, first - what is wrong with you =), second - that is okay, you can still join your friends/family while enjoying an egg dish. They also have a wide variety of drinks and coffee choices. You will leave with full and happy bellies.
There isn't a ton of seating, so be kind to those who just ordered and don't linger. They do seem to get through the line fairly quickly and the wait wasn't too bad. - We will definitely be back.

Love this place! It's really close to my house so I love coming here for coffee. Believe it or not, I haven't had their waffles yet. But I love their huge selection of drinks and the breakfast sandwiches are AMAZING! Also, awesome service. :)

The Buzz is a fun place to stop in! Their coffee is very rich and their waffles are delicious. I had the vegan s'more waffle and it was amazing! Would definitely recommend stopping in.

Cozy insta cafe in downtown Burnsville. The toffee mocha was delicious. The vegan country breakfast waffle is fantastic and the green peppers in the waffle really come through nicely.

I go here once a week to do paperwork - I’m always greeted and chatted with, the prices are good, the waffle selection is unmatched! I’m vegan and have been very pleased with the vegan options here. This shop is a hidden gem!

The service was excellent, and the staff were all very friendly. The food was absolutely outstanding. I had a breakfast bowl, Lemon Pie Waffle (see photo!) and a Honey Cubano latte.

This place does not break the bank in terms of price. They also sell bottles of some of the various flavor syrups, since many of them are so difficult to find.

I highly recommend anyone in Burnsville looking for breakfast food give them a try! I'll certainly be back, and I plan to eat my way through the menu.

This place should be all “the buzz”!!! Very home like feel on the inside with a huge selection of some of the best dang waffles I’ve had. I had the brown sugar bacon and holy SMOKES!! Even got to chat with the owner for a bit and heard some comedy:) will definitely be coming back now as a regular!!!

It was a busy Sunday morning and it seems like waffles are the thing to get at this place. Everyone with me got waffles... and I chose the egg bowl, but now I know what to get next time! There was a couple tables that you could eat outside on a nice day. Seems like a bustling local shop!
