I was impressed with their attention to detail and wealth of knowledge when it came to their products. They take the time to answer all the questions and concerns that one may have. The pricing was fair and they were willing to order items to the shop for their customers. Great place with great service!

Highly recommend the CPL training course. The instructors made the class easy and enjoyable and created a friendly environment that gave the class useful knowledge as opposed to just reading from a book the whole time. Great group of guys running this shop!

I didn't get any of the gunsmith services done, but from what I saw the cerakote & machining they showed me looked sweet and has me extremely interested. I will definitely be back. You wouldn’t know they were a store that sold firearms from the road. In fact we would have driven by many times if it weren’t for google. This is not your typical gun store. They have only a couple of firearms on display. But they BUILD very fine firearms. Their prices are very reasonable and they are willing to spend time with you to build the gun that is right for you. I went to several stores in the area and asked about M5s ( an AR style firearm in .308 caliber). One had no idea what I was talking about, several others said they get them from time to time but didn’t know when they might have one in. Another said they could try to order one but had no idea if he would be able to get one.

Deep Woods instead started by asking if I had decided yet what barrel length I wanted, stainless or black, plain or fleeted and so on, until we had exactly what I wanted. Then he figured a price that was very reasonable and told me it would take a few days to get the parts and a few more to assemble them. So basically a week to get the AR style firearm exactly the way I wanted it.

It was wonderful to talk to someone that knew what he was talking about, and was willing to pass that along to me. Very soon I plan to go back and have him build a custom gun for my Son. This is a great experince,

the fellows down at deep woods have been very helpful thru all interactions. Most recently participated in their CPL training course and found it to be very immersive and very well sorted.

I absolutely loved this place, super friendly and knowledgeable they know there stuff. Bought a new Glock today great price will definitely be supporting them for future purchases.

While looking for a CANIK TP9SA Mod.2 Semi-Auto Pistol - HG4863-N Deep Woods firearms popped up but they have none. They have no affordable handguns for people that can’t afford a house payment on a handgun while they’re all over the www. Plus the website is slower than my dead grandmother. In the Port Huron area you’d think local gun stores would have affordable prices especially with inflation as high as it is. The owners only care about serving certain members of their own community.

I ordered from them in the past without a problem. My current order I placed back in May and never received. It is now November 19th. Ordered a whole bunch of parts from them and was told my muzzle device was back ordered. Couple weeks went by without my order shipping. I let them know it was no big deal and to charge me for a second one that was in stock so I can get my order, and then send the backorder Brake when it came in. They charged me for my second one no problem but still have not shipped my stuff. I finally wrote it off as a loss. Do not do business with this company. The owner is a conartist.

Purchased a gun when they first opened. Ordered another in 2023 summer and it is now December 2023 without a package or shipping label. I would stay away from this place. Owner refuses to refund customers and doesn’t ship packages!

I had them order me a sight and flashlight for my gun. When it came in the sight they ordered wasn’t the one we discussed. Paid $350 for a $100 sight. Never going back again got straight up scammed
