As a local resident who lives just a mile away, I have been pumping gas at this station every week or so for years. Today, however, I had a very unpleasant experience with the cashier at the front.

I pulled into a stall and removed all the plugs from my tires in preparation to pump air. I then went inside to pay for the air, but the cashier refused to give me a token unless I first put gas in my car. I tried to reason with her that I was already prepared to pump air and that I would be putting gas in my car next, but she refused to budge.

I was very disappointed with the cashier's attitude and lack of customer service. I am a loyal customer of this station, and I have never had a problem before. I find it unacceptable that the cashier would refuse to provide me with such a basic service, especially since I was already prepared to pay for it.

In addition, I believe that the cashier's actions may be illegal under California law. California law requires gas stations to provide free air and water to customers who purchase gasoline or diesel fuel. Even though I had not yet put gas in my car, I was still a customer of the station and was entitled to free air. In the end, I did go back and pump gas but not the full tank as I had intended.

I will not be returning to this gas station again. I urge other local residents to do the same. There are plenty of other gas stations in the area that will provide you with free air and better customer service.

Terrible service!

I patronize this location at least twice a week. I asked to use the air pump and they told me I needed to pay $1.50 to put air in my tire. Whatever happened to good customer service? I guess Air isn’t free anymore but good customer service should be. Lost a loyal customer.
