Genesee Country Store & Candy Land

We were traveling back home to Meeker from Denver. And we were stressing to find a restroom, gas,snacks and we were so happy to find this sweet little gas station. Had a super cute Map to Pin where are you from? The customer service was amazimg too! It will from now on be the spot to stop by. ❤

Pearl was the sweetest! I was experiencing some pretty rough altitude sickness and she helped me pick out a few things that helped a whole lot !! For nausea they had these ginger candies that helped a ton. The fudge covered cookies they had there were soo yummy too! I highly recommend adding this as a stop to adjust to the altitude.

My car broke down here at 5 am in -9 degrees. The women working gave me free hot coffee when they opened and let me warm up in the store until I could get my car started. Not only did she offer me free hot coffee, but also had her friend help me jump my car so I could get going. I greatly apperciate this kindness.

Coming down from lookout mountain we came across an amazing local gas station the clerk Colton and his team member Pearl were amazing to us. And to whoever makes the fudge did an amazing job. Definitely something to come back to. Thanks Colton your awesome.

After dinner we decided to stop in and found an amazing selection of homemade fudge and so many more goodies! Definitely found plenty of treats for thanksgiving!

It is a cute store with good people to help and serve you. I was driving by myself from Fort Collins to Breckenridge yesterday that I noticed the oil light and another engine light was on. I detoured from my route to this store which is hidden from the road. Drew the owner helped me by checking a few things in my car after searching on his computer and put a quart of oil in the engine until I get to my destination. They have nice coffee, warm food, cute souvenir and a lot of other stuff. Great customer service and friendly people. Thank you so much.

I found a bag of just the “right” candy for my wife on our anniversary. She likes sheet tart and sour candies- and they have plenty of that. But I love the chocolate covered bacon and fudge. Yum!

Visited the Genesse Country Store after checking out the buffalo herd. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, and a nice selection of drinks, snacks, and souvenirs! If you’re in the area and need a quick stop, highly recommend Genesse Country Store!

Best fudge in the Denver area for sure! Quick stop off I70, it’s hard for us to ever pass the Genesee exit without getting off for a treat!

The Genesis Country Store is an excellent gas station! With a wide selection of snacks and drinks, it is a must stop for any travelers or locals going into or out of the mountains. Would certainly recommend.
