Blackwell Chapel Store

What a beautiful place to walk in and feel like you're stepping back in time. We enjoyed some great cheeseburgers as we warmed up near the old pot belly stove. The atmosphere and hospitality were wonderful. I can't wait to go back again and try the fresh sliced bologna.

We visited Blackwell Chapel Store for lunch today! We had delicious old fashioned cheeseburgers with all the fixins! Atmosphere was so welcoming, the pot belied stove was so inviting! Will definitely go back and try their Saturday morning breakfast!

Great place. Awesome food and while you're there you may find some neat gifts. Then you can also rock in a rocking chair by the wood stove .

The food is delicious and the people are great! It's a lovely local experience and I encourage all in the area to visit these nice folks... And have some delicious lunch while you're there!

We've had breakfast twice and lunch once. The food, ambiance and hospitality are always wonderful and reminiscent of Grandma's kitchen. The sausage gravey and white chilli are especially soulful. Walking through the door is like stepping back in time, and you are greeted with warmth . . . both from the pot belly stove and the owners. Make sure you buy a bag of the double-dipped chocolate peanuts or yogurt covered pretzels for the road. You won't be disappointed!

Mike and Judy are very welcoming and helpful. The food has been terrific. Entering the store is like walking back in time to a warm and inviting space. Please give these folks and their food a visit. You definitely will not be sorry!

Nice little country store with very good, and reasonably priced, sandwiches and lunch specials. A nice selection of everyday staples, and very friendly owners and staff. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.
