Margaret B. Mitchell Spay/Neuter Clinic

We had our 6 and a half month old puppy spayed here recently and had a great experience. She got to come home the same day with pain meds and "calming meds". She is very feisty and they recommended the meds to keep her calm while she recovered and they definitely helped. She never seemed to be in any pain after her surgery. She also got microchipped and her rabies shot and it was $115. The vet charges about $500 just for the spay. The staff was great with her, and she can be quite the little rascal. We were very pleased with how it went and how well our baby girl was taken care of. We would absolutely recommend getting your babies spayed or neutered here!

Wouldn't go anywhere else! Not only are they low cost but they ARE good. They don't "butcher" your pets. They answer any questions you may have. All the members of the staff are sweet and caring. Highly recommend. The wait is definitely worth it.

EXTREMELY difficult to get an appointment, but if you do, it's smooth sailing. The facility is well organized, well staffed & I have taken both my dog & my cat there with excellent results. I highly recommend this clinic for spay & neuter!

The staff have been friendly with smiling faces each time I come to the counter. Despite all of the animal voices, the staff don't seem to get stressed out.

Never enough appointments, which speaks to how much the need in this area is. At least people are trying to be responsible. A friend "inherited" an irresponsible persons cat that wasn't fixed, which has turned into 7 additional kittens, which are feral and we are trying to capture before they turn into even more, but my friend is elderly, and can barely manage himself, but is trying to get them all spayed/neutered and hoping he has enough money to cover them all for shots as well, so that they can be adopted. Even with the reduced rates, it's a lot of money. But thank goodness they will all eventually be suitable for adoption.

Absolutely amazing service provided to the very broad community of Southwestern Virginia and East Tennessee. There is so much need for affordable, compassionate and skillful animal healthcare and that is exactly what they provide. These highly professional people and the organization they represent are worth their weight in gold.

They were very kind and quick with my dog! The wait time was a little long but they were quite busy at the time so it is understandable and its much more afordable then other clinic's

Outstanding. I brought Chessie in and she is doing great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Its so nice to know my Cat received quality care and can be so much healthier at an affordable cost.

I have three Cats, a mother and her two babies that need to be fixed. The kittens are a girl and a boy. The Momma was abandoned by her Mother, so we bottle fed her and she had her babies on July 2nd, so the kittens are going to be three months old on October the 2nd. I need to get Momma fixed asap, and the kittens needs fixed as well. They are all so adorable and definitely keepers ❤🐈‍⬛💙💝 Thank you

They were so helpful. I was able to get both of my animals vaccinated and shots up to date due to there prices and staff working us in to there schedule.

I picked up my Tucker, 10 and a half month old, long-haired Chihuahua, this morning. He's doing great! He's happy, has an appetite, and shows no signs of pain.

Margaret Mitchell clinic has really been a life saver. People drop off stray cats at my house constantly. Of course they dropped off a female that was pregnant. I took all 5 kittens to the clinic to be fixed & they fixed the mommy for free. Amazing group of people!!!!!

I took my cat to get her fixed. They were careful with my baby when they took her so she wasn't any more scared than she had to be. So I dropped Birds off in her pink collar and matching pink carrier. The next day I went to pick her up and the lady handed me a5 dollar bill and said boys are cheaper. Margaret B. Mitchell spay/neuter clinic has always been really wonderful and on my last 3 visits they exceeded my expectations. I was in and out each time. The system they use to process clients was fantastically organized and efficient. I didn't realize they even offered wellness checks. The cost is already so great and to have this level of care along with it is nothing short of phenomenal. Thank you Eva B, for the work you do and to the rest of the staff at this clinic.
