Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Abingdon, VA

Stayed here on a trip to WV! Loved the location. Just a couple of exits from major restaurants. Quiet area. Well lit parking lot! Beds, comforter, pillows, & towels were all wonderful!! I’ll be staying here again when I go back toward WV!

Most friendly staff. Real breakfast free. Always have fresh cookies at front desk. We stayed three days was really nice. Good location to food fun and shopping. Close to Damascus and Grayson Highlands State park. Dog friendly as well.

This is the 2nd time we stayed at the Country Inn & Suites in Abingdon, on our way from Texas to Pennsylvania. This will always be one of our stops. The staff is so kind and helpful and the cleanliness is always a 10!!! Thank you for such a restful stay during a long drive.

As a business traveler, I stayed in 204 different choice hotel nights last year. I can definitely appreciate why this hotel has enjoyed so many awards (proudly displayed).

Top notch beyond comfortable bed and clean room. The room was huge with awesome furnishings. I hate that hotel properties are stepping away from carpet but I understand their business decision. At least my socks were still clean when I changed to put on my boots. (Not the case in majority I have patroned)

Incredible breakfast as well. Amazing staff. I'm afraid my former regular hotel of Bristol has lost my frequent stays. Great job for country inn and suites!

I had such a rough day driving through the mountains with my service dog and had no idea I was still in Virginia by the time I stopped it was 9:00 p.m. and a nice young man named Will sold me an emergency room that was so nice. Thanks Will for getting my dog and I a safe night! Lovely place!

Easy access from highway, a clean bed with super soft sheets, and an extremely clean bathroom. Exceeded expectations. Check in was a bit slow but I had no reservation and staff was helpful once it was my turn at desk

I have stayed in many hotels over the years and i can definitively say this one is the best bang for buck. The rooms were very clean. Had a fridge and microwave in the room. Lastly, the impressive continental breakfast: obviously it was not like dining at a restaurant, but it was very nice and had tons of variety. A waffle machine, sausage gravy and biscuits, eggs and cheese, muffins, cereal, fruit, peanut butter, oatmeal, assorted juices, milk, almond milk. Also for those checking in late like us there is coffee in the lobby overnight. All this for a total of 97$ after tax.

Love staying here every time we visit. Staff is friendly and always polite and helpful. Rooms are up to date and nice amd clean.

Great place to stay for a visit to Abingdon, Virginia Creeper Trail and/or The Barter Theatre. Rooms were comfortable, good prices and availability. William at the front desk was very helpful in helping us navigate restaurants.

Loved that we weren't disturbed unless we wanted. Close enough to the casino to enjoy our trip and not pay excessive for a room.

I cannot say enough good things about my stay here. The staff was very kind and welcoming, the room was incredible, and everything about this place screams welcome home.

I had a small issue with the bedside lamp not working properly (I had to jury-rig it to get it working,) and I definitely heard more than one dog barking through the doors and walls, but for me it's not worth down voting. I will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to everyone who asks.

We had been traveling across the country from CA to VA and this was our last booked hotel on our trip. We stayed for only a day but wow how nice it was to rest up and catch some z’s here! Check in was smooth and the person who checked us in was very friendly. Price was great and we brought our dog and pet fee was about $30 I believe. We were placed on the 1st floor, and though the hallways seemed a bit outdated our room, the lobby, and breakfast area was very nice and clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast they had and probably was the best one we had out of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip. Location wasn’t bad, it’s right off the interstate and you couldn’t even hear the cars or anything even though it’s so close. If I had to travel again I’d definitely come back and book here. We were happy with our stay!

Clean well maintained good size rooms with an attentive staff.with easy to access Wi-Fi Way better then the Fairfield Inn across the street.

We stumbled upon this place on our way south based on reviews. Great place - friendly front desk staff, Scott, very helpful with local suggestions. Clean, comfortable and well appointed.

Very friendly and helpful staff, one of the nicest I have encountered. Room was clean, spacious and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good as far as hotel breakfasts go. Good deal for price and I would definitely use this hotel again.

Great little spot, just off 81. Extremely large room, clean. From check in to check out top notch! Breakfast was good, great coffee, and fresh cookies. Amazing, friendly staff, thank you.
We stopped as a halfway point from Richmond, VA to Nashville, TN for a half marathon.

I haven't stayed yet (I'm hoping for a staycation here in the future). But I've been here many times for lunch & dinner & the people who work here are truly amazing. They are so kind & help create a calm & enjoyable environment. I will be back more often as this place charms my need for peace & beauty.

My husband and I needed a last minute place to stay and decided to book here as the price was reasonable in such short notice. Safe to say we were satisfied with our choice.
The hotel itself is nothing fancy, middle of the line design and interior structure but it was clean, simple, and exactly what we needed. It also had a very nice breakfast included, which was extremely helpful! A variety of options including non-dairy milk, fruits, cereals, waffles, oatmeal, sandwiches etc.
The service was efficient and good customer service.
Mid-cost for a basic and satisfactory hotel perfect for one or a couple overnight stays on a trip or last minute choice.
