La Jalisco

So I am going to assume that La Jalisco owns Michoacana because this is the place I visited(not Jalisco). I love to take my nieces here. It's so cute. The ice cream, and snacks here are amazing. I also get to freshen up my Spanish here which also a plus.

Such a cool store, and the taqueria is incredible. I could literally eat there every day. The pastor tacos are my favorite so far, but I'm still eating my way through the menu.

Beautiful produce and DELICIOUS pastries! Lots of selection for low prices! Don’t sleep on the meat counter, the Al Pastor is incredible and better than you’ve ever had at home.

I can not say enough good things. Moving from a heavily populated Latin-American area to Athena we were afraid we wouldn’t be able to find our goodies close by! I was wrong! They have it all, and always super friendly and helpful!

Great hidden spot for all kinds of Mexican grocery items and fresh meats. Wonderful selection of fresh pan dulce, too.

I stopped in because I heard they have a small takeout counter. The two tacos I had were authentic with fresh ingredients. Plus the total came to 3 bucks. Can't beat it. I recommend stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.

Oh my. The food from La Jalisco is so good! And the taste is different. So much better than and more tasty than other restaurants. And the owners are such nice people. Love it.

The little restaurant off the side of the grocery store has excellent Tortas! I had the milanesa torta and man, it was delicious. The restaurant is definitely dingy and weird but the food is worth ignoring the grunginess.

Pretty good "pan dulce" (sweet bread) and exellent choice meats. If you are in the mood to make taco night extra authentic, this place should certainly be on your list of places to go.

I love this place and practice a little Spanish every time I go. Best avocados! Affordable and delicious produce. The taco shop is cheap and delicious 👍
