The Local

The local has been one of my favorite stores in New Braunfels for years. I especially love that one of my favorite artists sells her prints, calendars, stickers, and paintings at The Local. If you're ever in there be sure to check out StationaryBakery!

Such a cute store!! They have plants and clothes and super cute drink wear and jewelry and new braunfels gear!!! There’s everything you need!! You can spoil yourself and get something cute to wear (men and women) or you can find a beautiful gift for someone or a very cool one of a kind souvenir! I’m coming back for the long sleeve mustard yellow Texas shirt next time!! Oh and to top it off, I told the 2 very kind ladies in the front I was going to a bridal shower - they wrapped up my gift I bought all nice and neat!!!! Totally felt the love from this place! Can’t wait to come back!

My hairstylist Robyn works here and I have always wanted stop in! Decided to today and all the girls were so freaking friendly 🥰☺🫶🏼 and Erica was super sweet!!!!

I’m so glad I know about this shop. The local is in downtown New Braunfels. Parking is very easy in front of the shop or in a lot across the street. The vibe of The Local is laid back with a lot of class. Vintage offerings with so many unique items are presented throughout the shop. This is my go to shop for special gifts for men or women. They support local artist and have a very healthy plant collection as well. The Local carries some amazing candles, men’s toiletries, women’s jewelry and clothing. They carry many current trends in clothing and jewelry. They have a charming little sitting area where you can check out their old & new books. You’ll feel like you’ve walked into a friends home when shopping here, the staff is fabulous.

My whole family loves this store. There really is something for everyone. It is the one "boutique" that my wife pulls me into that I really do not mind going into. Cool stuff for men, nice jewelry and clothes for ladies and knickknacks and gadgets for everyone. If you're looking for a place to shop for birthdays or anniversaries go to The Local, you will not be let down.

Stop by this store and browse around! My boyfriend and I loved it. Such a unique array of items. Bought a shirt I loved and so did my boyfriend. Also bought a poster. The cashier was very kind and helpful. I will be coming back next time I am in NB.

I am not one to write my own reviews, but this store prompted me to do so for the first time!!! Great little shop that offers a big experience and something for everyone. Returning today to buy my wife some earrings she regretted not getting immediately after we left and love supporting small business. The Local breaks the mold and will exceed your expectations.

This place is wonderful. Very supportive of the Local Community. Helps in so many ways to launch new artists and help connect many worlds. They have wonderful items for inspiration and purchase in the front and host events and classes in the intimate venue located in the back. Thank you for loving your Dreams here. Many of you. 🦋☕

Always enjoy the holidays when it's all decked out

I have visited The Local three different times. Each tine, I have discovered something unique that truly spoke to me. I have shopped for my sister, my 14 year old daughter and myself. I encourage you to ask questions about the products - the stories of the products and who makes them are phemonal. That is what has caught my attention and caused me to take a moment to share. Give it a try and be thankful that we have stores in our fantastic New Braunfels downtown like this one!

Favorite go to for the perfect gifts. I love this store - definitely a favorite! And if your visiting make sure you stop here! You are sure to find the perfect NB treasure!

Very cool shop with an assortment of local products (clothing, art, etc.). They have something for everyone, and the selection is always changing, so of you see something you like you'd better grab it before it's gone (I say this from experience)!
