Just YES. Don’t even think about it. If you know what an authentic taco is, and even if you don’t, go here. I’ve tried my fair share of tacos. This is hands down the freshest most amazing tortilla I’ve ever eaten. They have the usual choices, chicken, pork, beef, sausage, and tongue and more. The menu is in Spanish of course (pollo, carnitas, asada, chorizo, lengua, etc.). Don’t be intimidated they will help you if you don’t know what you’re ordering the ladies were so kind!

The best tacos I've had in the area, and I've had quite a few! Blown away at the quality of the meat and tortillas. Super fast and super friendly too. I wish I could rate 6 stars.

Best tacos in the area without a doubt! I tried Al Pastor tacos and asada. Al Pastor tacos comes with Pineapple and tastes delicious, 100% authentic. Fresh home made tortillas is another pro. I’m glad I found this place since I was very disappointed that the tacos around NRV aren’t that good, the other place down the road make tacos with tortillas from the bag and barely put any meat on it, but thankfully Camarenas came to save the day. The store in general is pretty neat, well organized and polite staff. If you like authentic mexican tacos I highly recommend you to visit and try their food.

My fiance and I love the tacos at Camarena's. Anna and her husband make delicious food, especially the tortillas! Our favorites are carnitas and al pastor. The food is fresh and the little shop is clean and cozy. I almost want to keep this place a secret, but really want to see them succeed and stay!

cute, family owned store with a great but small selection of fresh veggies, bulk beans, tortillas, nopal, dried chiles, spices, paletas, and other Mexican and Central American delicacies and cookware. they also sell delicious juicy tacos with perfect spicy salsa and all the trimmings. easily the best tacos in the New River Valley and the family owners are friendly and fun

If you are in the area we totally recommend to visit Camarena's Mexican store, where you will find a variety from shopping at their store to eating their delicious tacos/tortas.Their tacos are made with hand-made tortillas. Staff is very polite and welcoming. Definitely a great place to stop by.

The food here is sooooooo good. Its super authentic and very high quality. The tortillas are super fluffy and the meat is very tender amd flavorful! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is a fan of tacos.

Good sized store. Very friendly. If your looking for local Spanish seasoning , chorizo, longaneza or maybe some quaca queso you should check it out.
