Haven't been in many Dollar Generals but found them to have more food than Family Dollar. I live outside a small town in New Mexico and the town has lost its grocery store. We have a Family Dollar, but now that I've been in a Dollar General, I can say I prefer the Dollar General. They carry a lot of things exactly like Walmart and there prices are reasonable. I am 45 miles from 2 super Walmarts, but I enjoy the Dollar General more. Less walking and good quality of products.

The manager Don, took care of us and had a great professiol personality with a sense of humor.zz I bought some pants that didn't fit me well enough so I went and replace them with the receipt and they made it smooth and easy and to do so. Great place to shop

I love the Dollar General, mainly because they have everything I need (none groceries) and are at a reasonable price, along with them having a $1 clearance section!
