Food Lion

It's clean and has all the essentials. The workers all greeted me when I walked through the store and that was a very nice change of pace from the other FLs I've been to in the area.

Plus, their fried chicken is outstanding. Not sure who is in charge of making it, but they deserve a raise!!!!

Food Lion has really upped their game big time since they opened. The store was clean, the lines were short and I had no trouble finding the items I needed. Courteous and friendly staff.

Although I love food Lion their prices are extremely high. Due to inflation of course. But their customer service is exceptional. I went there today and found some moose track ice cream. My favorite and the price was reasonable. I was waiting at the speedy check out there was nobody in the store. And the girl up front she's just standing there and she says oh you can go to the self-serve check out. I did not want to go to the South check out but I did. I was willing to wait for the lady at the customer service desk who was supposed to be running the cash register but she was busy with something over in the customer service area. But the register was right there. So I was willing to wait. I look at it this way these self-checkouts it's just a way to replace people and I'm not liking that. I don't care about technology we have people that need jobs and you're hiring a self checkout machine. Because you figure it's more valuable for your business well let me tell you something we need to find value in each other we need to find value in hiring people that need money to keep a roof over their head not some self checkout machine. It's totally ridiculous I know it's not y'all's fault. It's all about the money honey. God bless you food Lion I mean I always get great customer service when I go there. But I only go there for certain things because the prices are too high

Great prices on savings. Love shopping experience everytime at this Food Lion location. It's always nice to see people you know at the Meadowdale Food Lion!

Food lion always clean, fully stock and fully staffed with plenty of cashiers and baggers. Go across the highway to Walmart market and u will be met with empty shelves., checkouts lines down the aisles and little if any staff

Great layout. Fine selection of produce. Like most of these stores, it feels like you have abundant space to move around even when other shoppers are inconsiderate. I was delighted with every member of the staff that I interacted with. Kudos to the hiring manager. A gem in the franchise. Even through the pandemic they keep up the good work.

Customer service is always great. The store is clean, fully stocked and since there are self-checkout registers, limited to no long wait time. Conveniently located off of Chippenham Pkwy

Clean store, friendly employees ,. Shelves well stocked. Got everything I was looking for except, blueberry cream cheese. Can't complain. Thanks guys.

Food lion has stepped up its game! They have more organic PRODUCE, fruits and vegetables. They have more than just MORNIGSTAR frozen veggie meat! They have GARDEIN soy free meat and more in the produce section! 😮😁 The stores are clean too.

Staff friendly and helpful just store is out of a lot of stock & prices is higher than usual.

A very clean grocery store with a small hot station. I've enjoyed that a few times. Jalapeño poppers were goid. Chicken definitely flavorful.
