My first visit to Michaels in Spokane was great!
The store was clean.
All staff were very helpful and I purchased many frames and matting for art pieces.
I asked about a Sr discount and signed up.
10% off of all items saved me approximately $30.00

Great selection of pens and highlighters! Some of them now are locked up, so be sure to get help from staff.

Great Customer Service and excellent craft stuff in stock. Love Me some Michael's! I spent too much money. . Again, but that's not their fault.

It's a great place to go for arts and crafts. And they are decently priced and usually have good sales

My daughter was putting together a homecoming bouquet "idea". Her stepson was going with a sweet girl from his school to homecoming. The clerk working the floor was helpful finding the wooden letters that were needed. We got in, and out of there in record time, and I found a wreath hanger that had a sunflower on it (my favorite flower). The hanger compliments my Thanksgiving wreath that has sunflowers in it. Perfect!!

It's Michaels! Theu have craft stuff. The super up side was I found someone who knew what I was looking for and they had it.

If we did not live in a planet that was not so controlled by status and money making, I know Michaels would employ up and coming artists who shared their love of art and would spend all the time talking to you about different ways you could make your creation etc and what products you should try but we are not that type of society. Michaels is short staffed always. no matter if it is in Texas or Washington, and with people who don't know what is in the store or how to use it.. So it is what it is

How about more art classes??? I am sure there are artist out there willing to share their talent..probably for as little as a year of 50% off.. you know the students will be spending money there. Anyway.. for a Michaels. This location is clean, bright and full of crafting supplies. They have even started carrying fabric and more sewing supplies.!

I have gotten back to painting again and I have been learning to do pours. Now I'm on to trying more different ways to do them. I'm loving it and it certainly gives you something to do while we wait around for things to go back to normal.

Upon discovering that Hobby Lobby does not support women's health initiatives, I made a conscious decision to redirect my business elsewhere. Michael's has become my go-to store for all my crafting needs as a result. While it's worth noting that the prices at Michael's can be relatively high, there are often coupons available that help mitigate the costs. Additionally, keeping an eye out for sales can further maximize savings. In summary, Michael's has become a convenient and ethically aligned choice for my crafting supplies, allowing me to support my hobby while also supporting women's health.

I called the Michaels on N. Division this morning (7/28/23) and spoke with a wonderful gentleman named Chance!
He loves what he does because his customer service is spot on!
I called the store and got transferred to Chance. I explained that I’m making my own headstones (wood and paint) for my Halloween graveyard and I wanted to get something to make the stone look 3D.
Did he think putty would work?
Chance suggested a spray paint that looks just like stone. I’d never heard of that but I liked it.
He offered to look at it so he could tell me exactly what it was. Then after he told me and I was definitely interested, he offered to go get the price.
He was friendly, courteous and professional the entire time. It’s obvious he cares about people.
I’m 55 and my first job in 1985 was working for the commissary on Fairchild. Back then, businesses taught customer service to their employees, so I know how customers should be treated but I rarely see that nowadays. Chance’s customer service was a breath of fresh air in a time where customer service is more like stale air.
He deserves a kudos!

What great place for candle sales! Everything else is wonderful as well, including the atmosphere. Thank you for making me feel welcomed and keeping it clean.

Ordered on line for store pickup. Was notified in less than 2 hrs the order was ready. Everything in store, for the most part, was 40% off. Ordered unfinished wooden birdhouses. The selection available in store was extensive. Also found acrylic paint kits to paint the birdhouses.

Michael's is always great for crafting projects and holiday decor! And our Michael's has the added bonus of really smart, helpful employees!
