Cute little gifts. Jewelry. I can find some nice stuff on sale sometimes. Always a cute cat in the store. Sometimes they have food trucks of the sort in the lot in the summers.

So, this review is for Henry’s Creamery, the cool blue and white ice cream trailer located behind The Gardner of Bath, which, if you’ve never been, is a great little store full of expertly curated bespoke and handcrafted items. And that’s not easy for me to say. I’ve all but shunned brick and mortars in lieu of Amazon over the past several years, giving credence to expediency and variety over, well, heart and soul. However, it seems that whenever I need something that is out of my league (ie. something for my special lady friend or which has any sense of feminine charm) I seek out stores like The Gardner of Bath. The couple who runs it, Justin and Heather, are classy and heartfelt about what they do in such a way that the big chains will never be able to compete. They’ve managed to fill the gaps left by the leapfrogging e-commerce companies.
But really, I’m here to write about the ice cream. Let me start by saying that I hate the word ‘foodie’, but I guess that’s sort of what I am. A foodie, and a fatty, who has traveled the world to over 35 countries, mainly to try the cuisine of other cultures. Sure savory is good, but it’s the sweets of the world that have my heart. Enter Henry’s Creamery. To be forced to call this ‘ice cream’ seems like a glaring oversight and hints at the inadequacy of the English language to succinctly describe the nuances of worldly things. The chocolate and the vanilla will make you angry that anyone in your life ever had the gall to serve you Breyers or Edys. The texture and the layering of various flavors, like a hint of smoked salt in the chocolate and coffee in the vanilla, make this ice cream more of an experience than a dessert. Plus they offer various other flavors like banana pudding ice cream with home made vanilla wafers and raspberry ice cream with heaps of said fruit inside.
If you are in the neighborhood, or even within a 50 mile radius, I would suggest coming here for a treat yourself kind of day. 10/10 - would eat this until I need to be chainsawed out of my house.

This is such a lovely shop. I got some adorable bookish apparel and stopped on the way out for ice cream. It was delicious and I got some to bring home to my husband, who said it was amazing. One of the owners gave my mother in law and I free hot chocolate and it was also delicious! Plus we got to pet the shop cat and meet the chickens. 😆 We’ll be back!

My favorite shop hands down. Friendly and welcoming staff, an adorable shop cat, and the coziest most magical environment you could imagine. How fortunate are we to have this local gem? Oh and did I mention the merchandise is perfection? I love Gardener of Bath and will always shop here. It’s my happy place!

I found this place a few years ago and it's been my favorite gift boutique ever since! I say "gift" boutique, but really I buy more stuff for myself than for anyone else. Everything is just too hard to resist. Heather and the team are great too. They know the merchandise and seem to always have the best recommendations. Can't say enough about Gardener of Bath. This is the perfect place to go when you need a gift for that person in your life that seems to have everything. Somehow in this small space they seem to have an endless amount of unique and high quality options to choose from. My kids love to go look around and see all the little treasures too. So glad to live in a community that supports this small business.

Took my friend up there today so he could buy a gift for his wife. Very nice place! My first time in there and it's super cozy and inviting. They have a large selection of gifts. If you can't find something here I'd be surprised.

Every time I visit this shop I find the most unique gifts. It's my go-to place for Alex and Ani bracelets and especially unique jewelry I can't find anywhere else. Top notch customer service sets them apart from other places to shop.

I can’t say enough good things about this store! I grew up in the area, but sadly don’t live in town anymore. I try to stop in every time I’m home. No holiday season is complete with out a visit to Gardener of Bath! In addition to having an incredibly welcoming, cozy in-store atmosphere, they offer great services to long-distance customers like the FaceTime shopping they did last year. I’m so proud to say that Heather and her small business are from my hometown - they’re a gem that’s not to be missed!
