Amazing market. I always thought it was like a farmers market but I was wrong. It's that and so much more. A salad bar. A sandwich bar. Specialty foods. Organic foods. Ice cream, desserts, organic frozen dinners, vegetables, some sundries, plants, seeds, fertilizers, AND an ATM that doesn't charge a service fee. Yes. That's what I said. Doesn't take that fee of usually $2.50-$3 that most Indy ATMs charge you. I say "this place is nice to shop at!"

Tiny powerhouse of a store! Always clean and well stocked. The listen to their customers. The entire staff is lovely, helpful and respectful of customers/members. They will order you something if they can get it and don't have it. Prices are reasonable.

My go-to grocery store in Olympia. This was my first co-op when I joined in 2013, and remains at the top in terms of food quality, local sourcing, and nice people.

It’s a little smaller than the Eastside Co-op, but this store has some unique items and I love it. Friendly staff and a bigger garden center than the other location. I’m glad we are so well-covered on quality food in Olympia.

I love this place. Great selection of bulk items with reasonable prices. Ethically sourced, mostly organic and all natural. They have a free store, not for food, but for items you might find at the Goodwill. Today I got a puzzle from it.

My first time visiting here! I enjoyed the selection, and the great change of pace from a typical big box supermarket :)

I haven't joined the co-op yet - but given the great selection of beer, cheese, and bulk products, I'll be stopping in here frequently.

Lots of bulk options that are hard to get elsewhere, like red lentils and oat flour, at solid prices that don't break the bank. Cheapest kale in olympia, which is awesome for my pets. The garden center has a good variety of plants and plant needs, along with chicken feed. As a bonus, the grab & go food is delicious.

As overpriced as some things are, this place still has some great deals and I'm happy I was able to support organic on a bare bones budget! Some of the pricier items did pique my interest and I'll be back another day. This place is still rocking the good food. There's a fine selection of different sauces and the staff is nice, though I do wish that they'd stop acting like wearing a mask is a matter of life and death.

Always a pleasure to shop at the Co-op. Bring your own container, weigh it there and fill with your choice of bulk foods, teas, spices, toiletries & detergents. Feel good about using less packaging. Join and get 10% off regular prices.

Of all the countries I have traveled and grocery shopped at, never has the experience felt as good, sustainable, warm and local as it has here. The Olympia food co-op is a place that people behind and in front of the counter care about, and for good reason. The food selection is wonderful, produce is fresh, prices are affordable. It truly feels like a piece of home and I miss it whenever my life takes me elsewhere. Love you, co-op. ❤

Equally as nice as the other store, but smaller. However, the produce section is almost as big and typically that's why I'm there.

Fantastic natural foods store. You will see hippies in their natural habitat here! Great selection of organic, vegan, vegetarian and locally sourced foods. They take Covid 19 precautions very seriously here which I am thankful for. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you shop here, consider becoming a member. Support our local businesses.

A community staple with the strongest commitment to social and food justice of any coop I've been to. Good selection and alright prices. Interesting flat hierarchy and a well practiced democracy. They allow volunteers to cashier so customer service can be downright awful, especially at the smaller location. Still though, 5 stars, but some volunteers cause more harm than good.

They have excellent control at the door of limiting the amount of people to go inside and buy the products, due to Covid. Their service is excellent and they are willing to answer any questions you have regarding the products, and all of their fish and seafood is fantastic and high-quality. I just love going there.

An amazing pillar of the Olympia community. Excellent quality food, supplements, pet supplies, toiletries, and classes - this place has been making it easier for thousands of people to be healthy, before eating organic and local was even cool. They also have excellent ordering policies, making them comparable to Costco and other bulk retailers for large orders and stocking up. If you don't know how to use some of the ingredients they sell, they also offer all kinds of workshops. It's also nice to shop somewhere that's nice to work - it's a staff collective with good pay and benefits - which isn't the case with most grocery stores.

This is a small but mighty local food store. No jackfruit when I was there, but they had locally sourced sustainably harvested bee pollen, a great selection of local breads, produce, eggs, kombucha, cheeses (including some lovely vegan varieties!), and almost anything else you might need. I picked up lunch while I was there - it's hard to find hran and go food when you have to be gluten free, but they had vegan and omnivore choices. I love this place!

Just moved into Olympia and went here for my first grocery run. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere. Amazing produce and good selection of produce. They also have a very decent selection of vegan specialty products. Bulk section looks well stocked also. I will be shopping here while living in Olympia.
