Decent selection for a convenience store, friendly staff and great location for university students and staff.

Half the time they don't have any items you win in their instant win game. No popcorn, no candy, no Tornados, nothing like that. Understaffed, too.

They need to adjust their hours because they are closed when they say they're open and almost every time I go there they are either really slow like the elderly man with glasses at the register and only have one person working register while there is 15 people in line also they frequently have problems like card reader down only taking cash payments etc this is extremely annoying and inconveniencing

I honestly wish I could give you a 0 star rating.
The manager at this location was what I would call a high school bully. Not only did she card and call my friends ID fake, but proceeded to humiliate him in front of other customers. Afterwards when she involved law enforcement and wasted both our time, the ID was claimed real. She then proceeded to not take responsibility for how she wasted everyone's time, but after she made a snide remark about his ID. Also, after I asked for the corporate number, I was given a false number. This is extremely unacceptable. This experience was appalling to say the least.

I had to give a one star rating in order to post my comment; however, this store is definitely a 0 star store! If you want the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, then look no further than this Kangaroo Express. My daughter's driver's license was defaced by Jaime, the kitchen mgr, because she assumed it was fake. Now my daughter needs a new driver's license and has to drive home 8 hours one to replace it. After initial contact with Jerry Craig, market mgr at Kangaroo/Circle K, he will now not return any of my phone calls. In fact, neither will his boss Paul Stoner, the regional operations mgr. Based on the reviews posted, I shouldn't be surprised. BUT, who gives Jaime or any other convenience store cashier, the right to deface someone's government issued ID??? And you know this store wouldn't be in business without the support of the Elon University community - how many others have experienced this kind of rude and rash behavior? Clearly, this store needs some management training since they're no better than their store employees. SHAME ON YOU CIRCLE K!

I was buying tobacco products for myself and wasn’t allowed because my teenage son was with me. I had my ID and teenagers don’t have to have ID until 18. Yet the rude cashier said it’s the law that he has to card anyone with me even if it’s my underage teenager. That’s not the Law!!!

The gas is always higher at this location more than the others

Fix ur slushie machine, been broke for 4 months🤦🤦

It’s sad when a Cashier only has to press a single button to see how much change to give you and they still somehow mess that up.
