Meat Center

This is my 2nd time going to the meat center. The store is very clean and well organized. The employees are very nice. I would recomend this meat center to others, if you live in Columbia it's a drive but well worth it.

I don’t eat these but they have a slew of them… great meats, customer service and prices!!! Always the go to place for meats and more!!

Probably the best place to get your meats in town. They're at an affordable price and the employees there are nice. When i want to cook me a nice meat dish first place in my head is here.

Great selection of quality meat with lower prices and always fresh. Follow them on Facebook to keep track of the weekly specials. We wait on the sale prices and buy in “bulk”. Bring home portion it out , vacuum seal and put in freezer. Saves us a lot of money on grocery bill. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars. Only way they could get better is to start carrying frog legs 😬

Great selection of high quality meats and very reasonable prices.

Staff don't talk much, but prices are great and always good meats to choose from.

Being going here for years good meats but I have seen a little spike in prices but I can understand in this economy! Highly recommend though if you want to fill the fridge and freezer and save some money!

Excellent prices for great quality meats! The staff are very courteous as well. You absolutely cannot beat their prices at any grocery store or anywhere else. I go at least once a week, and have never been disappointed!

I love the Meat Center. They have the best prices ever! I love Springer Mountain farms chicken. Also, their ground beef, steaks, roasts, ribs, etc. Can't wait to visit them again next month.

Caught some great deals today! The store was very clean and didn't stink like some butcher shops do. I will definitely shop here again.

7/9/22 got some great deals on beef today! 81/19 ground beef under $4 per lb!

I love the friendliness of the staff, and the prices are awesome! I come from Monroe, NC every month and I am never disappointed.

This is a review of The meat center store in Lancaster South Carolina.
If you have not found this gem you need to make the time and do it not only do they have a fantastic selection of meats, they also have a small amount of vegetables and they have Frozen type meats like frozen chicken fingers and frozen fish sticks and frozen tater tots and french fries etc.
Places usually pretty busy so be prepared for that however the staff is super friendly and helpful and if you're looking for something in particular you can always ask and they will give you an honest answer if they can get it when they can get it or wear it is in the store if you happened to walked past it.
Not only are the steaks and burgers etc delicious, you also get a much better selection than you would at the meat counter at the grocery store and the prices are easily 20% to 25% less.

Very pleased with this market. The meats are positively beautifully cut plus FRESH! Our new place to shop for meats.

Still loving this place! Never buy ANY meats at grocery store...cheaper plus better quality.

I have bought beef, pork, and chicken. Also frozen okra, squash, and sausage links, maple flavor. Frozen flounder.
Everything is really good. The staff is very helpful. The place is very clean. The prices are very good I think. They will custom cut anything for you. I drive about 50 minutes one way. I wouldn't unless I thought it was worth it.

This place has great local meat here. Sales are really good. Slicedfresh lunch meat is really good

Love this place! Meat is always fresh and bins are always well stocked. Customer service is friendly. I go every 3months to stock up since it's about 19 miles from my home but worth the trip. Highly recommend!

I walked into this place for the first time today. I did have fairly high expectations based on reviews online and they were definitely met. Keep in mind, this is not some super high end, local butcher. This is a place where you can get quality cuts of meat at VERY and I repeat VERY good prices.
I just ate the chicken wings I bought from there and I swear they seem to taste better than the ones from where I used to get them. They were also fully separated and without the end piece that has no meat on it.

Update, years later. Still the same and occasionally they have things like T-bone and Porterhouse on sale for 4 bucks a pound, like today.

Prices are up on everything but you actually know where your meat is coming from and what your eating but love this place and FRESH MEAT
