Penshorn's Meat Market

Live this place if you haven't tried their marinated fajitas, you don't know what you're missing. The cost is worth every bite. I love their smoked dried sausage and buck sticks, and the whole selection is just amazing. Oh, and the chicken or beef pinwheels are super awesome too cant forget those like i said the cost is worth every bite, and I love it. I live a little aways but it's worth the trip every time! I'm just writing about it, and now I'm actually gonna go buy some fajitas and smoked dried sausage tomorrow after work 😆 seriously, though I like to buy large amounts of it. So good with cheese and crackers!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful! The two lovely ladies that helped us were Awesome! Not only were the meats top quality,(my husband raved about their hot dogs & bacon, so far, ribs are next..look fabulous)they had a wide variety of rubs, sauces, and marinades. As well as other goodies. I'm loving the local honey I picked up.😋 And if your a wood griller/smoker(hickory, mesquite,I remember seeing lots)..they got ya covered there too! Everything you'll be wanting for that next family dinner. We're Def coming back to stock up the freezer! And check out what else they've got ✌😎

I've stopped buying my meat from all other stores and only buy from here. Their prices are fair and their meat is the best quality. I forgot to take a picture of my roasts before I seared them, but they turn out amazing every time.

I've always liked Penshorn's. Definitely my favorite butcher in the area. Meats are very fresh and the jerky and buck sticks are a family favorite. Service is second to none! The people are wonderful.

Update: They just seem to have gotten even better over the last year. If you haven't tried them, you really should.

Great small-town meat market & butcher. Meat cade selections appeared very fresh and trimmed. Nice vibe. Good prices for Great cuts of meat.

Always friendly, priced well, & quality is better than your regular grocery stores.

This is a great meat market! It has many selections, beef jerky and various homemade pickles. You have to visit if you are in the surrounding area or just passing thru. You won't be sorry.

Small town butchers are the best! First, the dried sausage is absolutely amazing! I could eat my weight of it!!! They make pig ears for the pups. They love them! They also have some beef sticks that so good you’ll wanna slap to momma! However, my favorite so far is the prime rib I did for Christmas!!! It was such a awesome cut, my first try at it. Thank you guys for an awesome Christmas dinner!

This is a great little meat market in the middle of marion. Great for all your BBQ needs. Seasonings rubs chips beer essentials paper plates cups did I mention beer and have amazing meat selection. And don't even get me started on the jerky. It's some of the best I've ever had. If you're near marion stop by and give them a try.

Excellent meat market! I especially enjoy the garlic sausage links, the dry sausage, and the seasonal smoked turkeys. This is a great place to pick up some nice cuts of meat, but they also have cheeses and a few groceries.

Quality meats at reasonable prices. Employees are courteous and helpful.

Fantastic news that this meat market is still in business. It was originally established by my grandpa John Richard Huebinger, Sr. years ago. My grandma Rosalie would send me over to the market to purchase and pick up meat and milk when I lived with her in Marion, Texas. I am more than pleased to see that the new owners are doing such a wonderful job with providing services to the community. What a pleasure to see it looking so wonderful and continuing to operate. I will stop in the next time I come down and purchase some of meat and items. Are you still making the Germain sausage that was beyond delicious and using my grandpa's recipe? Both my grandparents, John and Rosalie, would be pleased if they saw what a wonderful job the new owners are doing with their previous meat market. Great place! Anything they marinate comes out perfectly as long as YOU can cook it! Jerky and links are amazing as well! Overall a great place with quality cuts of meat!

I always enjoy coming to the meat market. Everything is always so fresh and so tasty. It would be amazing if y'all had that newer credit card machine to tap and pay with cuz I forgot my wallet today but next time I'll be sure to bring it. thanks for the great service

I buy the beef sticks and send them to my grandson in Oklahoma. He is crazy about them. We have gotten HB, sausage, pinwheels, roast, bacon, ( I recommend the market cut),rib-eyes & chicken & everything has been absolutely amazing. Staff is outstanding. Thanks for being in the community.

Great food! Great service!
Whether I'm buying peppered bacon (The bacon ends are awesome.) or steaks or dried sausage, it is all wonderful! Their dog bones and pick ears are coveted by my dog. I made the mistake of getting them for my dog when he was young because now he won't eat any other bones. Lol. Plus, they are a great price. At $2 each, they are a better price than I've ever seen anywhere else.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hands down the best meat market I've ever been to.
