Hot Food is so good!

Food is good but I am sure was overcharged. Had rib sandwich marked 5.99. Also had a brisket baked potato and hashbrown casserole. Now I was charged 9.99 for one and like 8.00 for the other. I understand the 9.99 maybe for potato but 8 00 for a single serving of hb casserole is steep. Probably will not return as I feel they charge randomly what they want.

This a great convenience store with excellent customer service, but unfortunately NOT such great barbecue spare ribs which apparently they’re locally known for… The barbecue sauce was great, but the quality of the pork was low-grade and the meat was undercooked!! And also another negative thing that I witnessed was when I ordered the ribs, the cook put them in the microwave to heat them up for me. And the cost of the barbecue spareribs were quite expensive at $23 for a half rack which included a 4 ounce cup side of bake beans, coleslaw, and potato salad which weren’t all that great either…

In my opinion if you’re looking for the best barbecue ribs in Nashville, I would hands-down go to a place called Edley’s and order them St. Louis style, You won’t be disappointed!!

Been going here for 2 1/2 years. Food is amazing and the cook along with the owner's wife are very nice people; however, the owner clearly has never worked retail as not only is he very unprofessional to both his only cook and his customers.

I have always been kind to the owner and never said anything terrible yet he has alienated, ignored, and even told me to be quiet when I tried to strike a conversation with him. Today I walked into the store and he's yelling at his cook over something (While true, I do not have any context as to what sparked the fight, this was extremely unprofessional for both the cook and the owner. Does not matter who started it, no one should be yelling). I silently grab my usual sandwich and as I was putting on my barbeque sauce and pickles the owner I GUESS tried to distance himself from the cook but then went right next to me, and continued to yell at him, almost right in my ear. I almost just left the sandwich there but I was starving. I then went up to the counter and waited.

Two girls walked in asking if the sandwiches are barbeque. Neither the cook or the owner answered so I had to tell them it was. Then the owner came to the counter STILL talking smack and said, "God is..." and just stopped so all I said back to finish the sentence was, "...an interesting being." With a smile. He told me to be quiet and keep my quips to myself.

No matter how good the food is and even though this is the only place in town with a respectable price on a pulled pork sandwich that is properly smoked, I will not be coming back as I cannot support a business that treats not only their employees, but customers like that.
