I love this place! It's very relaxing going here. No matter what activiy you're planning on doing, you'll have fun. It's very clean and we'll maintained. You can go to this park to walk/run the track, play basketball on the court, go to whatever ballgame or practice is going on, take your children to the cute playground they have or you can go there and swim in the pool during the open season. All in all, I go here a lot because it's safe, well lit and whatever you choose to do is fun. A+++

I've been to this park multiple times in the last yr & would whole-heartedly recommend it. It is extremely well kept! GREAT lighting, even late at night if a family function goes late, feels very safe (& has some security cameras at least toward the restroom/ parking area), almost all of the equipment is see through so you can keep great visibility of multiple kids, esp. thankful for one entrance/exit - again visibility is key w/ kids! The bathrooms are super close, pretty clean, have soap (woooo) & even AC!!!!

The only con I've noticed really is that lots & high school, college age, & single or looking adults seem to gather in the parking lot a bit away from the playground area. Within a few hours 100 people may drive by & stop again at a bit of a distance, but they seem to not be too close to the play area, still it is a bit unnerving w/ small kids trying to go to the restroom or water refill station on their own.

I live right down the road and spend an hour at the park at least attempting my version of exercising. People are friendly and the restrooms are actually clean (for a park). It seems like the only place in town for high school kids to hang out but they are fairly well behaved anyway. The playground is a little old and the old building located onsite smells like my grandmother’s basement but I find both of those things kind of nostalgic, reminds me of my youth.

It's a huge playground with many slides and obstacle course style playground equipment.
There is a skate park, a well maintained walking trail. A huge open field that I can't wait to fly kites in with my kids.

This is a really great park to be such a small little town.

Check it out.

I go to this park a lot actually. I enjoy taking my son here and he enjoys it as well. Always a great place to get out and go to. Not to mention when the community gets involved we always have a great time when things are planned there. Its a great place to come together at.

We stopped here on a Monday afternoon around 4:30. There were several people using the walking trail that circles around the park. There were also a lot of people at the basketball courts playing and watching. They all looked to be around high school age. There was a lot of honking, tire squealing and thumping music when they left. They weren't bothersome to us, but I feel it's important to know that people and children of all ages use this park.
We went to the playground, which has lots of different play sets. There is a fence around the playground area with only one entrance/exit. A gazebo placed in the middle of the play ground, but directly in front of the exit, makes it easy for parents to see if children leave the area. The gazebo also has benches all the way around on the inside and some picnic tables in the middle. There are several benches throughout the playground area, as well.
Men's, women's and family restrooms are close to the playground area. We used the family restroom. The door wouldn't latch and couldn't be locked. And it looked like there had been some sort of leak or maybe rain had blown under the door, but there was water standing on one side of the bathroom. We were there until sometime after dark. The playground lights, which are around the perimeter of the area, came on automatically. This is a great playground. My only complaints would be that there wasn't enough ground covering (mulch or wood chips) so there were several puddles and spots of soft/muddy ground, BUT it was a warm day in February, so that may be something they do yearly in the spring. AND the bathroom door needs to be fixed.
My children's ages range from 3 to 13, and all of them had fun. I would recommend this park.

There are many things to do. There's a play ground for the kids maintained by the local Rotary club. There's a walking track. Baseball fields, basketball courts. A pool that's open during summer. They host many public events throughout the year for the family.

It's what gives life to the community. Everybody spends time during the hot weather playing or practicing sports. It has a trail to walk, basketball court, etc. It's what keeps this community together.
