Duane Reade

Great neighborhood Duane Reade in Oakwood. Always organized and well stocked. The staff is efficient, courteous, knowledgeable, and always eager to assist. Recently, I accidently left my ATM card in the machine. The shift lead, Alexandria chased me down in the parking lot and returned my card right before I got to my car. They really go the extra mile and aim to please. Thanks Alexandria!!!

The pharmacy closes 1:30-2:00 pm for LUNCH!!

This pharmacy has a dedicated staff of people. The workers here are top notch and are very polite. I know it could come off as annoying. A person looking to see if script is ready for pickup, but they are always kind and understanding. Plus the automatic system is key so it saves you the trip.

Duane Reade never looks messy or has boxes on the floor making difficult to shop or look around . Over the loud speaker plays music and says the rules and regulations for the store. The parking lot however is always busy and constant traffic. They have spots for pick-up which is cool . The staff is always pleasant. I never had a problem. They do have good deals on items . The phamarcy is top notch and usually a lower price on medicine being a part of Duane Reade.

If pharmacy doesn't have the medication your looking for it could take a week for them to get it. But the pharmacist that works there is very knowledgeable and helpful to the customer.

Becareful parking in the lot can be hectic because of the other stores. The area is clean. And I believe they have security. I could be wrong. I believe cvs does. But
I'm not sure.

If you need last minute holiday shopping Duane Reade offers a good amount of items. From balloons, to heart chocolate, roses, and flowers. Since Valentine's day passed. Buying things here could be your best bet.

I am very pleased on the customer service at the pharmacy. They didn't have one of my medications and it took not even a full day for them to get it.
Problems like this one if it was CVS it would of took days. Lol

Civilized. That is the word l would use if l could only use one.to describe this store. The pharmacy staff is very professional and will do everything possible to help you or to troubleshoot. a problem with a prescription. Almost every CVS on the island is a chaotic free-for-all at the pharmacy. This store is exactly the oppositeThe store manager deserves kudos: everything runs like a top. When they have sales the markdowns are incredible and products I have gotten for 90% off are just as good as those of full price! But don’t go there ! Stay away least I turned the store into the bedlam of a CVS !

I come to shop here once or twice a week and I have never had a bad experience. everyone in the front is extremely accommodating and helpful..I have never enjoyed coming more since they got a very pleasant man giving cosmetic samples...pharmacy is horrible all around I don't even bother but everything else is A+

Higher prices than a supermarket.Staff just goes through the motions.Only as a last resort if you can't find an item anywhere else or you're in a hurry.

The pharmacy staff is rude and not helpful. I fill my prescriptions there and when I call for a refill the staff is always nasty and unhelpful. They blame me for my doctor not refilling my script meanwhile we're in the middle of a pandemic and I cannot get in touch with my doctor.
