G1 Liquor

I love this store! I've been coming to this market for years buying various goods, including sandwiches. I recently stopped by and found they had installed a Freezé slush machine! This made my day because the only other place I could find this tasty beverage was on the Grapevine, heading to LA. They have all the popular snacks and alcoholic beverages at reasonable prices. Plus, the young men working the counter are always professional, courteous and kind.

I work at the elementary school up the street and G1 liquors has been fantastic to me. The morning guy who works there (I believe his name is Sunin) has always been helpful when I’m in a rush to get back to work and is friendly even when he’s extra busy. Love the store and love the service.

The location is clean and has everything you can want. The owner is super nice and accommodating. I started coming here a month ago and haven’t done anywhere else for a quick stop. Best prices on items too.

I have been to G1 several times since the ownership change. Pardeep is attentive respectful and polite. G1 is becoming a part of my everyday life as I continue to increase my trips to the store. G1 is a great addition to our community. It is a convenient, one-stop shop for a wide variety needs. Whether you need a quick snack, a cold drink, or to pick up a few items for dinner, G1 has you covered. G1 has a wide selection of products and the prices are competitive. As a chef, I am especially appreciative of the excellent selection of wines, champagne, and bourbon which I use in many recipes. It should also be noted that the store is immaculately clean - something that matters to me.

There is also a deli/taqueria located inside the store. I have not yet tried the food, but it smells delicious and I plan to try soon.

G1 is always friendly and helpful, ensuring that I have a pleasant experience.

I live half-a-mile from this corner market and frequent there virtually daily. My favorite thing is how nice and friendly the staff are. They always say hi to you and ask how you're doing, and wish you a good day. Just really good customer service. They have an amazing selection of hard liquor and prices are legit. They also have all the necessities, food, chargers, batteries, on-and-on. There also a LEGIT taqueria inside that also make American food. So you can get it all done in one stop at G1 Liquor!

My neighborhood store. Very clean. Has everything. I like that they close at 2am. Very convenient. Also has a restaurant.

This is a cool spot. They have almost everything that you might need for a quick situation. Kinda tripped me out the very first time I decided to check the place out but turned out to be a good experience. Everyone is nice and friendly even the regular locals.

We love this store, they have exotic sodas ,they have exotic beers and there's a Mexican restaurant in the back ,what more could you ask for.

My family and I come here at least once a week for a quick drink and every now and then we grab some food from the grill. All the workers are so nice and the place is super clean! Very affordable, and great service makes it worth it. They have super cute lighters too, which is always a plus in my book!

This is my go to neighborhood liquor/grocery/last minute I need something place. They just got new owners and staff and the place did a 180, everything is so new and clean and they offer so much. Definitely not your typical liquor store, and the prices are really good. The people who work there are incredibly nice too, always a “hi, how are you doing” when I walk in, especially Kumar.

I am pleased to say that G1 staff is outstanding, they are very respectful and helpful.
The store is clean and With the updates to the store, it looks like a million bucks. SO if you're in Oakland, get off at Kelley and 580 to check out the large selection of Liquor, wines and beers.

Great to have a store close by to my house that has everything i need. Staff is really friendly and they always play cool music. Also love the fact there open until 12 Perfect if you get off of work late..

This place has improved dramatically since they took over the old John's market. Great selection of wine, beer, liquor, fair prices. Kumar behind the counter is a good guy. Also an excellent in-store taqueria.

The staff is really friendly here and make me feel comfortable unlike some other store. They have everything you need from alcohol, clothing, home supplies and a restaurant. I’d recommend stopping by especially if your getting drinks with friends!

G1 Liquor has the best hours around. G1 recently switched ownership and completely remodeled the inside. Great selection, value, and service from sun-up to sun-down. See you there!

G1 has a great selection of drinks - non alcohilic, tall boy, wine, liquor, even top shelf bottles to give as gifts or to bring to an event. They also have a big candy isle and quick meal options. Not to mention, Taqueria El Cohote in the back of the store is the best lunch spot in the area (highly recommend the asada fries!). The staff is always friendly and happy to see you. Stop by 1+ times per week and you will feel like family!

Kumar is great!! He used to work at the store closer to my house. One day he was gone. I later saw him at G1. I was so happy to see him again. Courtne and Kammie. Anytime I walked through the door he knew what I wanted and was happy to see me. Congratulations Kumar!!!!
