Found several great, unique pieces and several cute California “souvenirs” that aren’t obnoxious. A good place for gifts or guests.

Great find in downtown Lafayette which is much in need of this kind of store. Great selection of high quality clothing. Tom and Rosalyn are super nice people and provide great service. They have a nice selection of non-clothing items and I loved the fact that some of these goods are made by and support impoverished people. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the goods. I'll be back a lot and happy to support a local retailer.

For those interested in ordering online, I had a very good experience here. Ultimately didn't keep the shorts I ordered, but customer service was great. My credit card got declined and the store was prompt in calling me and ensuring payment/order was completed. Shorts didn't fit quite right, but return was easy and no hassle as well.

Venture is our go-to place for gifts, cool clothes, and interesting treats for ourselves.
There is an excellent selection of items, many of which are made in California, which I like.
Service is always pleasant, and gift wrapping is free.

This place is consistently great. I went in for a bday gift for my wife today, and quickly found several things she’d like. They gift wrapped them, and I was on my way.

This place is a great spot to find quality clothes and very friendly staff. They are smart to even have distractions for kids so you can shop. Go to spot for Patagonia, great selection of Bellroy wallets, and some nice shoes as well!

Went here for a Patagonia hoodie, service was very good. They kindly offered to wrap the hoodie since It was a gift. Would definitely come back!

Love this place ! Excellent clothing from Patagonia, Kuhl, Toad & Co., etc. Olukai footwear too. The owners, Rosalyn & Tom are super helpful & friendly. Perry is also fantastic.

Employee felt genuinely nice and helped me pick out a black sweater. Pretty cool store, go to it.
