I brought my first buck to the Wagon Wheel Market with very little knowledge of what I needed to do after harvesting the animal. The crew went above & beyond helping me. The meat came out perfectly prepped, properly marked & labeled, and it tasted amazing. Well done, Wagon Wheel team! You’ve got a happy customer here.

This place is the BEST! We travel from LA County to come here to buy meat and their sausages. Never have had anything that wasn't top of the line...DELICIOUS AND TENDER! Just wish they had an on line ordering system, but we'll keep driving up to purchase products!
AND, the staff could be examples for many other businesses...ALWAYS helpful, polite, respectful! LOVE Wagon Wheel!!!!

Highly recommend! A fantastic market and butcher shop. Flat iron steak, varied sausage and tri-tip. This was our first visit and so glad we had an ice chest to travel home. Pete and staff were awesome! Support this business!

Very convenient, family run, community market. They have their own butcher shop. Will take care of your wild game. Make sausage, hot dogs on site. Local produce. Deli sandwiches/soup, for take-out. Staff are pleasant, helpful.
My 93 year old WWII vet Mother gives it 2 thumbs up. Easier to walk around than the big store.

This is how a convenience store should be run!! I've been here for years..My friend the mngr.always greets me an talks.All the girls are so dag-gone friendly...I lost my wife years ago, I can't cook very good.These folks make dishes I can buy ,an have two dang good dinners later that night an next day..They make hecka good salads of all kinds.. Highest quality of meats and sea food in Oroville that I know of! I speak with authority having been a Chef in the South Bay Area, enjoyed a similar well known market in Corralitos, CA., and I lived in Berry Creek for 10 years so I became a regular at the Wagon Wheel.
Yes, we all have money worries right now and at first glance you may think it's too expensive but stay with me. I just bought 3 of the marinated chicken breasts for $13.41. Each of these are so plump and big, there is no way that 1 person can consume an entire serving. So, I will fillet these in half and (when it's safe to do so) toss em on the grill. Serve 1/2 for dinner and the next day make sandwiches with the other half. For 3 people and 2 meals, this tasty and healthy chicken cost $2.24 for 6 servings. And I have just helped the Shop Local campaign.

Best meat in town hands down, Worth every penny

Best place I've been in Oroville. Great place to grab food, snacks and of course MEAT all kinds chicken beef pork and wild game. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Even the owner is awesome. Our corned beef was the best we have ever had this year. I live two hrs. 120 miles from this store but every time im up here I here I have a big list to get from the family.

My children and I lived nextdoor to the wagon wheel market 35-40 years ago and I remember how wonderful your sandwiches were. Stopped by this afternoon & can't tell you how great they still are. Thanks for the super sandwiches today, as well as the greatest cookies in Butte County. Made my day

I absolutely love Wagon Wheel! All of their foods are fresh and high quality. They have higher prices but you get what you pay for. Their staff is super friendly, they have a great selection of seafood and meats. They also have a deli where you can get fresh sandwiches or hot foods. You can purchase Sees' candy from here. My favorite items from here are the Hawaiian chicken breasts, any pre-marinated tri tip, fresh baked breads, artichoke jalapeno dip, and their marinated mushrooms

We were planning a celebration of my Mother’s 90th birthday with a little family get together at our rented Airbnb in Oroville. Having to plan this from out of town, I read some reviews online and then took a chance and ordered a sandwich tray from Wagon Wheel Mkt. I ordered in advance over the phone, being very specific about some items dealing with food allergies that we had to be cautious of and told them when I would like to pick up my order. Our order was made fresh the day of pick up and was ready on time. The sandwiches were absolutely perfectly made according to our requests and delicious! The sweet little gal at the deli counter even carried my entire order out to the car for me! If we have an occasion like this again, I will know exactly who to call for food! Great job Wagon Wheel Market and thank you for your help with our special occasion!

Absolutely fantastic market with an excellent meat counter and many local products. Will be shopping here as exclusively as possible from now on. Friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever experienced in any store. Can't reccomend highly enough, with the added bonus of supporting a small local business. Worth the drive!!!

Their a little higher price but it's well worth it. Everyone is super friendly and will custom cut for you. Try getting that at Wal-Mart. We need to shop Oroville small businesses first. And they make dynamite sandwiches.

Best place to "drop off" your dear for processing. Great meat market. Always buy sweetbreads when we visit. They additionally have goose and rabbit all prepared and ready for your kitchen. Great selection of venison salami. Etc.

Local family owned, everyone is so friendly and helpful. We have all our livestock butcher done here. The most amazing Bacon and sausages on the planet !
