First, they are super kid-friendly. The high chairs are clean. The staff is EXTREMELY FRIENDLY. I heard the table next to us have a bit of a hiccup, and they were super polite but hungry. Unfortunately, we got our food before them, and they had been seated before our table.
They went above and beyond, even comping their breakfast! I love the business attitude because those locals keep coming back! Prices are regular, but the QUALITY is supreme.

Our family LOVES this place. We call it The Cow. There has been a cow atop this restaurant as long as I can remember. It actually…. might be a steer. Cattle words? Not an expert here. We have had good service here consistently: when busy (which is mostly) when not, when it picks up after we get there, etc. Coffee is good and hot and usually full. They keep it coming! Has real tasting half and half little creamers. I haven’t tried the other creamers. Staff efficient and friendly and the food tastes good! We love going here. The price is comparable to other restaurants in the area. My kids usually get something from the kid menu and I really like all the omelets I’ve tried. They are pretty big by the way.

This was my first time and definitely not my last! Great experience at The Cow, my dad accidentally spilled his drink and the staff came right over to clean it up. They have fantastic staff and their service is excellent! I had their french toast, it was moist and oh so yummy! I really liked that they give you a lot of butter to go with the french toast. My dad had their ribeye steak and he said that’s the best steak I’ve ever had. I didn’t have any steak since I don’t usually eat steak although he loved it! I forgot the name of our server but he was a black guy and he was so funny. We all loved that guy! Will come back again when we visit California.

This place is amazing. Four pieces of best fried chicken. and big one's at that. Baked potato, best corn bread in California. Originally from the south, great service, great Waiter, 💯 recommended. Same price as Denny's. Ridiculous portion.

Great restaurant. Senior menu has more options than most. Can substitute 1biscuit and gravy for toast, and coffee comes with breakfast or lunch. The price was right. The portions large and the flavor was down-home good! We tried the vege omelette ( which was topped with avocado!) and the chicken fried steak. Well definitely be back!

Everything was spot on!! We have been there twice,and each time we were seated immediately and the staff was great at getting our order correct and it came out fast and the food was great. We will definitely continue to eat at the cow.

Surprisingly great food. Had the fried pickles and they are perhaps the best I have had anywhere in the country. The burger was as promised and cooked to my exact specification. I love it when a place asks how you would like your burger cooked and they actually deliver. Service was outstanding. Onion rings were delightful and salad was good.

The Cow-First time coming under this new ownership and it was excellent! Ordered the Reuben and garlic fries, they were super crispy and yummy. My husband ordered breakfast and the sausage was huge, packed with flavor, and butter soft. The service was excellent, food came out fast, she brought the bill with the food so we didn't have to wait after, extra napkins, salt/pepper/condiments everything came out very quick. We were impressed. Definitely be back!

Stopped in for breakfast on my way through town. Hands down the best pancake I've had in a long time! Friendly staff and nice to see the local regulars.

The BEST fried chicken in the entire county. Their famous seasoned broaster chicken is cooked to order, so it is served right from the skillet/oven. You would have to wait about 15 to 20 minutes for your food, but it was so juicy that it was dripping uncontrollably down my mouth when I took my very first bite. It was crispy and packed with flavors on the outside, while staying tender and meaty on the inside. The cornbread was outstanding, one of the most scrumptious that I have ever tasted. It was moist and buttery, like eating a delicious piece of cake.

The service is the most excellent that you can receive, the very finest Southern (in this case Northern) hospitality. It's funny that they are known for their broaster chicken but they have a cow as their mascot standing on top of their roof.

Had the Open Face Roast beef Sandwich with soup and salad. First the Beef Stew was amazing. Salad was nice proportion. Roast beef sandwich had plenty pf meat, and Mash Potatoes were very good. Food was Hot, and fresh, great proportions for the dollar.

This place is definitely the go to breakfast place in Oroville, CA. Great food, good sized portions, and just the right price for a full belly. My breakfast is usually the giant 16 oz. Chicken fried steak and eggs. It is so big it comes by itself on its own plate. Highly recommend!!!!

My favorite breakfast place in Butte county. The loaded home fries and friendly service Brenda provides are the reasons why I don't mind driving up from yuba city for a good breakfast.

Tuesdays they have the chicken special buy one get one deal. Half a chicken per person. Fantastic. Super hot made fresh.

So far out of all the diners in Oroville this by far is the best one. I don't know why I took so long to try it and I seriously regret that because the pancakes here are absolutely delicious! Customer service was average but I'm definitely going again when I have a craving for pancakes!

Thick cut bacon tasty! Pancakes moist, very nice breakfast and well priced.

Dropping off my husband for work got a lemonade and is was pretty dang good!
